CHAPTER - 25

The trial started for Mayank's case and after listening to his whole story,the court looked at his case with sympathy.But though he sold all those girls due to saving his own family,but still that was a crime and moreover Mayank murdered Dhruv and so Mayank was given 5 years imprisonment.Nupur was greatly disappointed with that since she expected that on hearing about his situation,Mayank would be set free but thats what Mayank himself expected since he wanted to serve for his deeds as the guilt of destroying the lives of the girls was killing him from inside.The judge,after announcing the decision,was about to leave when Mayank stopped him and said,"Judge sahaab mujhe ek request karni hai aapse."The judge gave him permission and then Mayank said,"Main aapse sirf kal subhe tak ki mohlat chahta hu uske baad police mujhe mere ghar se arrest kar sakti hai.Par please mujhe kal subhe tak ka waqt de dijiye taaki mujhe jo sabse zaruri kaam abhi karne hai vo main kar saku.Aap mera yakeen kijiye,main kahi bhaag kar nehi jaaunga.Bas mujhe thora sa waqt de dijiye.Please."The judge granted his request and ordered the police to arrest Mayank from his home.When Mayank came out of the court,he looked at all the girls who were rescued and he joined his hands to them and said,"Main jaanta hu jo maine kiya vo maafi ke qaabil nehi hai kyuki meri vajah se bohot saari larkiya hamesha ke liye andhere mein goom ho chuki hai jo shaayad kabhi nehi milengi.Main unhe to waapas nehi la sakta par apni ye sazaa bhugat ke main apne paap thore kam kar sakta hu."The girls accepted his apology.Mayank asked Monty and Arhaan to make arrangements to send the girls to their homes and if anyone doesn't have any home then to arrange for their works in their factory and provide them quarters.After that,he looked upto Nupur and then said,"Tumne mujhse hamesha ek sawaal pucha hai jiska jawaab maine tumhe aaj tak nehi diya.Par aaj vohi sawaal main tumse puchna chahta hu."He took a deep breath and asked,"Nupur kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi?"Nupur was surprised but was extremely happy on his proposal and she immediately agreed.He said,"Chalo mandir mein chalkar shaadi kar lete hai."He took Nupur and his family to a temple.

After Mayank and Nupur's marriage in the temple,everyone arrived at Mayank's home and he took Nupur to their bedroom.He made her sit on the bed and said,"Hamaari pehli raat ek saath shaayad vaisi na ho jaisa tumne socha hoga,par main ye puri shiddat ke saath koshish karunga ke ye main hum dono ke liye hamesha ke liye yaadgaar bana saku."Mayank's mother came to their bedroom and gave a saree and a box of jewellery to Nupur and said,"Mere bete ne tujhse shaadi ki hai par main saare rasam nehi nibha saki.Par shagun dene ka haq to mujhe hai.Ye khaandaani gehne hai jo meri saas ne mujhe diya tha aaj main ye tujhe de rahi hu Nupur beta aur ye joda maine khaas Mayank ki patni ke liye banwaya tha jispar ab tera haq hai.Ye le rakh."Nupur took them and she took her blessings and after she left,Mayank said,"Aaj raat tum yehi pehenna."Nupur nodded her head.At night,which was their first nuptial night,Nupur wore that saree and all the jewelleries.Mayank entered their bedroom and was stunned to see Nupur in that attire as she was looking extremely beautiful in that way.He slowly walked towards her and then sat on the bed.When he cupped her face,he found she was weeping and he asked,"Kya hua Nupur tum ro kyu rahi ho?"Nupur replied,"Tumhe 5 saal ki saza nehi hui hai Mayank balki mujhe 5 saal ka vanvaas mila hai.Main kaise rahungi tumhaare bina itne saal?"Mayank replied,"Par maine galti ki hai na Nupur,meri vajah se kitni larkiyo ki zindagi barbaad ho gayi.Vo shaayad kabhi apne parivar waalo se mil nehi paayengi.Jab bhi main ye baat sochta hu na to aisa lagta hai ke mujhe jitni bhi sazaa miley iske liye vo kam hai.Agar zindagi bhar bhi main is paap ka praayashchit karu tab bhi mera ye paap nehi dhulne waala hai.Tum apne aap ko meri jagah par rakh kar socho Nupur aur ye 5 saal...Ye 5 saal to yuk at jaayenge kyuki main tumhaare sar par bohot saari zimmedaariya chor kar ja raha hu.Apna aur mere mom dad ka khayaal rakhna aur Suhaani ke bete ko kabhi ye pata nehi chalna chahiye ke hum uske asli ma baap nehi hai.Vo sirf hamaara beta bankar rahega zindagi bhar."Nupur said,"Ye tumhe mujhe bataane ki koi zarurat nehi hai kyuki vo mera hi beta hai,hamara beta.Usko kabhi ye baat pata nehi chalne dungi main ke vo hamaara beta nehi hai."Mayank said,"I love you so much Nupur!!"Nupur hugged him and replied,"I love you too!!"Mayank too hugged her back.

Next morning which was the mourning day for Nupur and the whole family.Nupur woke up very early and the whole night Mayank and Nupur didn't sleep.When shewoke up,she found Mayank was sleeping,probably his last sleep before he goes to jail.Nupur sat beside him but he didn't want to wake him up since she didn't want to loose him and let him go.But she had to wake him up since she too wanted him to get relief from his pain.She wake Mayank up and said,"Uth jaao Mayank dekho subhe ho gayi hai.Abhi..."Her voice faded in her tears and her tear drop fall on his face and Mayank woke up.He looked at Nupur and found her weeping and then he slowly sat on the bed and asked,"Kyu ro rahi ho Nupur?"She replied,"Sirf tum ye saza bhugatna chahte ho isliye main tumhe jaane de rahi hu varna,main tumhe kabhi jaane nehi deti.Kabhi bhi nehi.Jis din ka main itni besabri se intezaar kar rahi thi vo din mujhe mila to sahi par kuch hi pal ke liye."Mayank cupped her face and replied,"Maine kaha na ke ye 5 saal yu nikal jaayenge aur tumhe pata bhi nehi chalega."Just then Mayank's mother arrived and said,"Beta policewaale aaye hai."He gave a sad smile on hearing that and then went to the washroom to get ready to leave.After coming out in the hall,he had an emotional hug with everyone and then he said to everyone,"Aap sab mujhse waada kijiye ke aap mein se koi kabhi bhi mujhse milne jail mein nehi aayega.Kabhi bhi nehi!!"He turned towards Nupur and then said,"Tum bhi mujhse waada karo Nupur ke tum bhi kabhi bhi mujhse milne jail mein nehi aaogi aur tum sabka bohot dhyaan rakkhogi aur kabhi nehi roogi."Nupur replied,"Please Mayank ye rone ka haq mujhse mat cheeno baaki tumne jo kaha hai bilkul vaisa hi hoga."He hugged Nupur for the final time and then he left with the police and Nupur dashed on the floor crying for Mayank.

[ 5 Years Later ]

5 years passed like months and it was time for Mayank to come out of jail and the happiest day of life for Nupur.Each and every moment,she waited for this day to come and finally her wait was over and Mayank,her life was coming back to her.During these 5 years,Nupur performed each and every duty very efficiently.She re established their business single handedly with her father-in-law's guidance and with Monty and Arhaan's support.She also opened an NGO on Suhaani's name and as promised to Mayank she didn't go to jail to meet him.When after 5 years of imprisonment,Mayank finally saw the outside world,he found Nupur standing there and waiting for him to come.She hugged Mayank,hugged for her dear life and she cried a lot.Mayank asked,"Kyu ro rahi ho Nupur?"Nupur replied,"Itne saalo tak to tumne mujhe apne aap se milne nehi diya par kamsekam ab to mujhse ye haq mat cheeno."Mayank asked,"Kaisi ho tum?"She replied,"Tumhaare bina kaisi ho sakti hu?Jaisa tum mujhe chor kar gaye the bilkul vaisi hi hu ab tum aa gaye ho na,ab bilkul achchi rahungi."He said,"Bohot saalo se ghar ka khaana nehi khaaya hai Nupur.Chalo na ghar chalte hai."Nupur nodded her head and replied,"Ha Mayank chalo,sab tumhaara besabri se intezaar kar rahe hai."Nupur drove Mayank to home and then when he stood at the door of his house,he was very emotional and his mother welcomed him inside after taking all his evil eyes and then he had an emotional welcome in the house with his parents.Nupur said,"Aaj to tumhaara intezaar aur do log sabse zyaada kar rahe hai."Mayank was confused and then Nupur called,"Suhaani!!Sunny!!Jaldi aao aur dekho kaun aaya hai."Just then one boy and one girl of 5 years and 4 years respectively came running into the hall and screamed together,"Papa aa gaye!!Papa aa gaye!!"Saying they ran to Mayank and hugged him by his waist.Mayank looked confusingly at Nupur and then she said,"Hamaare bachche!!"He looked at them all surprised and kneeled down in front of them and he looked at Sunny and asked,"Ye..."Nupur replied,"Suhaani ka Sunny,hamaara Sunny!!"He then looked at Suhaani and said,"Aur ye...meri...meri..."Nupur replied,"Ye hamaari Suhaani!!Tumhaari Suhaani!!"He hugged both the kids.He had tears in his eyes and said to Nupur,"I love you Nupur!!I love you for everything!!"Sunny said,"Papa aap itne dino se ghar par nehi the,ab to aap kahi nehi jaayenge na?"Mayank replied,"Nehi beta ab main kahi nehi jaaunga."Suhaani said,"Papa abse aap jaha jaayenge hume bhi saath lekar jaana parega."Mayank nodded his head and then kissed both his kids.

[ 1 Month Later,PRESENT TIME ]

The writer wrote,"Sahi kehte hai,kaali raat ke baad,sabki zindagi mein ek nayi subha zarur aati hai.Uske zindagi ein bhi aaya aur phir jaisa ke har kahaani mein hota hai AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.Mushkiley sabki zindagi mein aati hai,par unka saamna karna parta hai.Ye hum par depend karta hai ke mushkil ke ghari mein hum kaunsa raasta chunte hai,sahi ya galat kyuki jaisa ki kisine kaha hai ke har insaan ki parakh is par nirbhar nehi karta hai ke vo kaisa hai,uski aadate kaisi hai ya phir soch kaisi hai,balki ispar nirbhar karta hai ke mushkil ke ghari mein hum kaunsa raasta chunte hai,kyuki buraai raasta bohot asaan hota hai aur sach ka raasta bohot hi mushkil.Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ke agar apni behen ko bachaane ke liye vo pehle hi hathyar utha leta to aaj shaayad uski behen ke saath saath baaki unki larkiyo ki zindagi bhi barbaad na hoti."

"Kabhi kabhi bohot choti choti galtiya hume bohot bhaar nuksaan ka saamna karwaati hai.Usi tarah bina jaache parkhe banaye huye rishte zindagi aur parivaar dno ko barbaad kar deti hai.Zarurat hai to bas chaukanna rehne ki aur apne aap par bharosa rakhne ki kyuki agar hum chahe to kuch bhi namumkin nehi hai."

While the man was about to close the diary,a hand touched his shoulder and then a voice asked,"Kya hua abhi tak soye nehi?"The man replied,"Ha abhi sone hi ja raha hu.Bas ek kaam baaki hai."The man signed the diary with his name - MAYANK SHARMA'

Mayank came into the bed where the kids were also sleeping with them.He asked,"Achcha Nupur ek baat batao maine tumse last I love you kab bola tha?"Nupur was very angry at this question and she made a face and replied,"Jab apne bachcho ko dekha tha tab.Uske baad to bas office aur bachche,office aur bachche.Biwi ko to bhul hi gaye bilkul hi."Mayank said,"I love you!!"She asked,"What?"He said,"I love you!!"Nupur went towards the window and said,"Phir se kaho."Mayank too walked upto her and said,"I love you 2,I love you 3 and I love you sooo muuuchhh!!"Nupur replied,"Haaye Mayank kitne dino baad kaha hai tumne mujhe ye.Mere kaan sunne ko taras gaye the.Thank you so so sooo much!!"Mayank hugged Nupur and said,"Agar tum meri life mein na aati na Nupur to shaayad main vo sab kabhi nehi kar paata jo maine kiya hai.Ha in sab mein maine Suhaani ko khoya hai par vo mere paas waapas aayi hai."Nupur just smiled and said,"Jo beet gaya usey bhul jaao kyuki aagey hamaari zindagi mein sirf aur sirf khushiya hi khushiya hai."He nodded his head and they hugged again while looking at the moonlight outside.

Mayank and Nupur fought a long battle to ultimately stay with each other.Mayank ended the reign of evil but as it was said that we have to sacrifice something to achieve what was right and so Mayank lost his sister in that process but ultimately gained everything in life and they both lived happily ever after with their family.
