Aankhon mein sapney liye, ghar se hum chal to diye,
Jaane yeh raahein ab le jayenge kahan...
Mitti ki khushboo aaye, palkon pe aansu laaye,
Palkon pe reh jaayega yaadon ke jahan...
Manzil nayi hai anjaana hai kaarvaan,
Chalna akele hai yahan...
Tanha dil, tanha safar,
Dhoonde tujhe phir kyun nazar...
Tanha dil, tanha safar,
Dhoonde tujhe phir kyun nazar...
Tanha dil...
The black open hooded gypsy car speeded on the empty road of the Kalhatty forest at the dusk... Nightfall was still two hours away but the forest was already dark and what was more unpredictable were the mists...

'Saab, the hilly road is not safe at this hour and the mist is getting denser... Driving in these heavy mists could be risky... It would better if we start tomorrow morning' Satyam; the local guide cum driver had warned the five Saheri Saabs who had been there for adventures and were heading towards Kalhatty Ghats for Hang Gliding...
But destiny was unavoidable... In spite of Satyam's repeated warnings the Saheri Saabs had refused to listen... Especially after Samrat Saab and Ranvijay Saab stuffed his pocket with a handsome amount of fresh notes; he had but no choice to follow their wishes...
The black open hooded gypsy car speeded on the empty road of the forest at the dusk... While Purab took the front passenger seat beside Satyam; the rest of them at the back comforted themselves with their backpacks, guitar and bears cans...
The road from Ooty to Kalhatty passes through the mountainous forests and it had several turns of which one side stands the hills and on the other side deep trench goes down beneath... It was quiet... Nightfall was still two hours away but the forest was already dark and what were more unpredictable were the mists...
The mists blindfolded the roads and its travellers... It could create an illusion and the cold silences along with it could hypnotize and rob everyone off their sanity... Their voices had calm down and their senses became more alert...
Purab was half standing in his seat; enjoying the chilled passing breeze... While Samrat too was standing in the back seat busy with his video cam capturing every moments of their journey... Rest of the three still engaged in their bear canes... Everything was going fine till that one moment...
The jeep took one blind U turn through the mists and out of nowhere three pair of orange eyes dazzled up in the headlights in front of the jeep... Before anyone of them could realise anything; something in yellowish brown whooshed in the air and landed on the bonnet of the jeep jerking it severely...
'Purab' Four voices screamed out from the back seats for their friend who was half standing in the passenger seat at the front leaning totally on the front part of the jeep... Satyam turned the steering wheel with his full force to his left... The animal jumped off the bonnet soon... But the speed of the jeep was so uncontrollable that by the time Satyam could hit a brake; it was already late...
After two whole days the burnt out skeleton of the tourist jeep was lifted up with the crane... And along with it the news of the accident became breaking news... It made the headlines in every newspaper...
"No survivors in Kalhatty forest accident"
