Hi MJHTians😊 I am a CIDian from CID forums. I was always aware of MJHT but never really watched it. Ironically, a year after it ended, I casually started watching all the episodes on Youtube. You see, last year I moved abroad for higher studies and I missed Hindi very badly, and was looking for something fresh... MJHT made me fall in love with Romance genre, comedy and romance..
. I have lots of feelings, mixed reviews and opinions about the show and the characters but I am not in a mood to bore you all...I came across some fan fictions here as well as on fan fiction section-- havnt the time to read all, but read some which are really good!I thought kyon na I write an FF of my own... since people here wait with lots of patience, I felt like writing something similar to the show in my way. Whatever similarities with, and differences from, the show as well as other fan fictions, my interpretation will be purely co-incidental.
I am quite well known on my beloved cid forums as a writer and poll maker and thread starter. Am quite responsible so no problem from my side.😊Well, a few things about myself before i start--
My username is not real name so has no connection with suhaani of MJHT fame- Rather in my CID FF i had created a character Suhaani hence the username, lolz
In MJHT I like Samrat the most, I feel a lot for him, especially the way he was treated in seaon two... Next I like Nupur. I love Mayur as well. Sajan is cute but for many reasons sometimes i get irritated with Gunjan. I like Mayank but for his temper.
Anyway. I may not be an expert like the writers here. My Hindi is not too good as am a Bengali. But I cud see that English is very much encouraged here! so my language will be a mixture of slightly bad hindi and good english😃
FF-- ''Kabhie Dosti Masti aur Pyaar''
Prologue-- (Almost 8 and Half years in advance)
He sighed out. Today was the day of that incident which had changed seven lives. He was lost in thoughts as he stared at a picture. He looked barely recognizable. (Only his back could be seen by audience, staring at a picture. It was of a large gang.)
He was clearly upset, as he stroked the picture. ''I miss you all''
Suddenly a child of 6 and 1/2 years ran into the room. He saw the man standing at the window side. The child ran to the man and put his arms tightly around the legs. The man turned slightly and looked down '' Arre tu! Finished your dinner?'' The man smiled. The child gleefully nodded and looked at the picture '' Yeh kya Uncle?''
His uncle smiled and said '' Photo, beta...'' He dreamily trailed off. The child shook him again and brought him back to reality. The uncle smiled again and now fully turned around. Gaunt, tired and seemingly bitter, the uncle picked the child up and took him to the bed.
''Uncle, aaj ka kahani kya hai? Woh kaunsa tasveer?''
'' Ek college gang ka. Bahut pyaare doston ka tasveer''
'' Kya Mummy Papa Massi Mama iss gang mein hain?''
The uncle's eyes turned misty eyed. He smiled.
The child begged him to tell the story of the gang. He seized the photo and looked at it, his eyes searching for his parents. His uncle felt sorry for him. '' Kaash...'' His thoughts trailed off...
He told the child a story about his parents and the child fell asleep. The uncle with one last look, switched off the lights and left the room.
In his room, he sat down on the sofa, sad and upset. He closed his eyes and began to dream in a series of flashbacks.
The story of a gang, of a college, of friends and foes and lovers and families and lots of incidents before the big incident that took away a life and crippled a life... and changed everyone's lives forever.

Characters -- Almost similar to the show with subtle differences--
Samrat Shergill and Mayank Sharma- Both are toppers in college (Excel). Once schoolmates, both are rivals having a healthy respect for each other. They were never friends though. But they like each other and love to challenge each other. Both are popular in their own rights-- one a star basketball player and a good student and the other a star student and good at extra curricular activities.
Samrat's parents were divorced. His mother Simran left him along with his sister Suhaani for London when he was a child. He is close to his father Shyam who is a trustee and a businessman.
Mayank's father died when he was but a boy. His mother Mrina Sharma is a chartered accountant. They belong to a upper middle class background.
Gunjan Bhushan and Uday Bhushan- Brother-sister duo from Katni (town in Madhya Pradesh), where they lived with Bauji Dharam and Bui or Buaji Pramila. Very close to each other. Uday dotes on his younger sister and is funny and simple yet strong and dedicated. Gunjan is a quiet girl who had a bad past due to which she is nervous around men and has a deep phobia of water. Yet she is talented and opens up once comfortable. Uday protects his sister from the dark secret. Bauji had sent them to Mumbai.
Nupur Bhushan and Dia Bhushan- Rival sisters. Dia the younger sister is Gunjan's age is the college Diva and hates her elder sister who is adopted. She even hates her Katni cousins and calls Uday Dodo and Gunjan Nerdy, because Gunjan wears glasses. Nupur is the bubbly other-popular girl who loves her cousins on the spot and becoms protective of Gunjan. While Diya is mordern and is always trying to be uber cool, Nupur is more balanced and yet very filmy and romantic. The sisters live with their parents. Mother Fiona ignores her daughters and stays away a lot and their father Jayraj dotes on them and is yet a strict father. Nupur's adoption is a mystery.
Benji Ben- Dia and Samrat's classmate from school and at college. Samrat's best buddy and has a crush on Dia who has a crush on Samrat. (Dia is Samrat's best friend. Samrat and mayank never met Nupur before Excel, as nupur was in a separate school)
Other Characters-
(Annie, Jacko, CJ, Tamana, Sheena, Ranvijay, Adhiraj, Suhaani, Niel Oberoi, Dhruv, Shkla, Princi, Purab etc and several characters from the show may or may not come in my FF.)
(As in the show Mayank and Dia dislike each other)

There will be some new cameo roles based on my fav offscreen and onscreen tv jodis who will just help in furthering the plot thats all...
