ishi....i dunno why but i have tears in my eyes right now while typing this.I know mn were ficticious characters but the love i feel for them is real.Hats off to u....the way u showed mayank's pain is commendable.I was really touched by the part where he remembers their 1st confession anniversary and wrote that he was no prince charming who came in a white horse.....well i agree....he was much more than that......
it was truly a beautiful update ishi...m gonna read it again and again....

Oh dear, you moved me to tears with this update😊 Mayank's greif, Bauji- Mayank reconciliation, Gunjan's grief and everything else was portrayed wonderfully in this update👏 Keep it up Ishi!😃
You were right! Reading about the funeral rites from a third person POV was much better than Mayank himself narrating it. Actually I liked that part the most than the actual diary entries probably because those areas encompassed the emotions of others and not just Mayank😊 When they performed the barsi in the show after the leap, Arjun's expressions were heart wrenching and so much like an aggreived husband but your Mayank, I think, excelled in it than Arjun😃 It was not enough for me to imagine Arjun during the funeral scene, as the emotions that you were portraying were quite beyond that realm, and I think you conveyed it pretty well too.👏Just loved the whole funeral scene and the reconciliation that followed. It really made sense the way you made Bauji relate to Mayank during the funeral. I sincerely wish that they had more of Bauji-Mayank scenes in the show especially after Nupur's death. That would have made the show watchable to some loyal fans who stuck with it even after the season 1 ended. Alas, that was again one of the tracks left incomplete in MJHT! Instead they had those irritating Riya-Mayank scenes and constant flashbacks of Nupur. Your FF is in a way a wish fulfilled for every Mayurian as we get to read about all these wonderful moments😃You ended with an absolutely sweet moment there😳 I could simply feel Mayank's pain when Nupur mentioned about that 3 years. Both of them deserve all the happiness after the suffering of those horrible 3 years😊 And that we leave it to you 😆BTW, what was Bauji doing in Dubai?😉 I thought he was in Morena yaar😆 Was Nupur's marriage that disagreeable to him that he had to go out of the country?😆 Do continue soon and sorry for not replying to your PM. Was busy with some things:)
Sorry Nithy for making you cry! But as I'm glad to know that my words had the intended effect on you.
Thank you for the sweet comments!
So kind of you to say that…Thank you! The Barsi scene and Arjun's performance was pretty much my inspiration for this final rites part. I kept imagining Arjun's expressions at that point while writing.
Bauji was probably the only main character who could relate to Mayank! Though Shilpa aunty has also gone through the loss of her spouse, I feel women are stronger emotionally. Men, on the other hand, may portray themselves as unaffected by such losses but it is them who are more affected. Also Mayank and Bauji were the two most important men in Nupur's life and it is them who would be affected most by the turn of events. I wished they had shown Bauji-Mayu scenes as well…it would've been more sensible to do so. It was a really important track in MJHT and it is sad that they never bothered to resolve it.
OMG! Riya scenes were really irritating.
Thanks – I felt it was needed after all that sad, emotional parts.
They did go through a lot more than their share of sorrows during those 3 years especially! But as they say distance only makes the hearts grow fonder! In Mayur's case, the love, the care, the respect, the passion everything just doubled after the 3 years.
I'm honoured and I will try my best to do justice to the beautiful story Mayur have given us.
😆😆 😆😆Well, I don't know…For me, a father not attending his daughter's wedding needed a good reason… (CVs didn't feel the need to answer that, so I tried to). My best guess was that he was out of country and was stuck in some unavoidable circumstance. I remembered that during the beginning of MJHT and then during Oct 2009, Bauji was not in Morena…For some reason, first country that came to my mind was Dubai.
Sure, will continue soon and as I said, don't worry abt PM.
