I had heard this somewhere probably in my school days during one of those classes where your teachers educate you on the ways of life; I can't recall exactly who taught me this but yes that line has stayed on in my life with me - the line was - Attitude is a small thing that makes a huge difference
In what is probably one of the most cliche' ; the oldest example in the world it simply means that an optimist looks at a glass half full while a pessimist clearly sees the glass half empty...
life isn't perfect nor was it ever meant to be no one in the world is without their share of miseries - whether is it always fair ? is a question hard to answer...
we all carry some scars of our own - some fresh; some buried deep down in our memory - no one has a box that is empty...
today in what is being looked at as merely a mission of Samrat' to bring a smile back on the face of his beloved Chashmish - we actually do learn a lesson a beautiful one at that too really which is to say - Life is what you make of it.
yes I know it is always easier said then done - but clearly how can someone judge anyone else ? does not having lived what you go through ever mean that the other person has never suffered actually ? people always advice others - simply the easiest job in the world - everyone becomes a guru for free - but not everyone has the courage that it takes to follow the advice they have themselves given.. not everyone who preaches practices it... there lies a difference definitely between the two.
today from where I see this track it is not about merely Samrat trying to win back and woo his chashmish only - no - it is his way of teaching her yet once again that life has always been and will always be testing - but no matter what you must not give up - it is not easy to accept a loss - never is - however life doesn't cease to exist - one has to simply move on no matter what the paid cost is.
Gunjan in her class today on being questioned by ash answers a question that if you can't seem to forget a bad memory - it is simply because you haven't tried enough..
whereas before it Sam's line is one where he says - in life there are ways always to be happy one merely has to find them - the memories of the past aren't good or bad - no it is simply how you look at them that makes the difference - whether you recall them with a smile or cry making yourself miserable.. these lines today were simply so beautiful
and yes it is simply so true - clearly those times - what happens in them - may be truly a good or a bad experience of your life - one which in your heart you will always carry however does sitting on it make life any better ? Is there ever a reason to have a self imposed suffering ? is mourning for someone you loved - who loved you back as much - is freezing yourself in time really ? will it actually make a difference to linger on - one that is of any good ?
in a fictional love story of his - tonight Samrat again shared an anecdote of their memories - one where she used to make Gajar Halwa for him - he said in Bhatinda - he was in love with a girl who used to cook food daily for him - today she isn't with him - and he has stayed behind with memories of her - he now follows a simple routine cook and have the same food she used to make for him - as a gesture to remember her by daily - with a smile on his face that comes as it brings memories...
Gunjan is amused as she takes this all in - learning the ways of life - from a stranger she seems to now have a liking - well how could he not touch a chord of a heart that belongs to her ? - that still beats for him
today when he looked at her in awe and was smiling to himself - seeing his chashmish teaching so confidently he thinks to himself admitting it feels so good to see you like this - to see how much you have changed - but no - it isn't much of a change really.
I didn't see a man simply in love today with a woman madly- in him - I saw a man today who within him had the strength to fight against the odds for the one he loves despite the bruises he carries on - tonight I can recall how he had once taught her how to face the world - speak to strangers - something which initially she was intimidated by - now in what is a twist to the tale simply fascinating - an amusing irony - he would teach her to face HERSELF..
once it was a crowd that scared her - today a crowd is where she finds her recluse - her place for hiding - somehow from herself and her enormous grief that she is still carrying .. however he has managed to find her and rest assured will now be in all the walks of life with her - as that is what means the world to him...
I leave you tonight with some of the most amazingly beautiful words I had simply ever heard - some pearls of wisdom - once shared by him..
' Maine kahi suna hai chashmish - ke kabhi kabhi hum bheed main kho jaana chahte hai - lekin sach toh yeh hai chashmish ke hum dil se chahte hai ki koi humme bheed mein bhi dhoondhle '
