Explaining MaJan with a Twilight twist :)

And eventually, their friendship evolved into love -

not the requited beautiful love that Edward/Bella had but a different love that has comfort, support and understanding at its roots.

It is possible to love more than one person at a time,

ESPECIALLY when the person you really really loved is not there. They leave a deep imprint on your heart that can't be erased.

So just think of MaYurJan:

Mayank (Bella 😆) Nupur (Edward 😳) and Gunjan (Jacob 😛)

MaJan isn't the same love that MaYur was/is - it never could be for Gunjan could never be Nupur and Mayank doesn't need another Nupur in his life, only the one that he had.only

BUT It has the potential to develop into love - yes, before they were more brothers/sisters.

But that was before - before the accident, before they were there for each other each and every day, before their respective partners had been removed from their lives.

Do you really think Nupur would have wanted Mayank unhappy and alone for the rest of his life? He is human - sooner or later, he needs love again, he needs companionship, he needs someone by his side.

In my opinion, I'd rather it was Gunjan - someone who her Di trusted more than anyone than any other new entry or girl. Gunjan alone can understand Mayank's pain of losing Nupur and vice versa.

Just like it's possible to love more than one person its also possible to love new relationships and characters.

Nothing can come close to MaYur/SaJan.

For me, they're right up there - perfect jodis.

But MaJan?
They're a different jodi, something that can be explored beautifully.

For me, they're imperfectly perfect 😊

AND Sanaya/Arjun have the potential to create a wonderful screenspace with this jodi - both of them do a wonderful job of respecting Rati's presence in each episode whilst also portraying the development of the MaJan relationship.

Seriously, if you're going to bash then

1) you cannot read what I said at the start i.e. no bashing and

2) at least do it with a coherent, level-headed reply instead of a "NOOO YOU SICK EURGH" sort of one.

Your name reminds me of one my friends here who was a big Rati fan and really smart man. Well coming to the point, I have been reading New Moon recently, although I didn't want to but one of my friend gifted it and I was thinking along the same lines as you.

But here you have forgotten that Jacob had no past girlfriend whom he loved more than his life and here Samrat is there, this would lead to ruining two beautiful relations.

MN have been attempted to be killed mercilessly, indeed by kicking Rati out they have killed MN in the show for me but this would lead to the death of SG as well.

see you have a point....but the thing is that the cvs do not have the capacity to handel such a track effectively...theyll make it like ridhuima0sid-arman part two?...get me!
the relation you are talking about is very sensitive,and needs to be handeled..well....but if majan happens they will be shown falling over each other like nothing has ever happened to them.

dont take it as i disagree wid u all, bt it's just dat what rida said is TRUE! MaJan are a jodi, as she puts it, but in a VERY DIFFRENT MANNER! Even, Samart & Nupur were a jodi! Jaise SaNu were known for their masti-khor ways, Majan are known for being the calm, subtle & sensible ways!

i don't think cv's can handle majan in mjht.if they have so much creative they would have not killed nupur but give us more exciting storylines and have increased their trp's.now atleast they are intelligent enough to bring back nupur in right time.if majan happens it would be nothing more than DMG.we already have one show like that and i really donbot think mjht must have same concept.

Very interesting post Rida. But I disagree with you. For me, when Edward left Bella in New Moon, it broke her, it shattered her and then she found Jacob, the guy who healed her wound.

But the basic point is that I can't relate MaJan to Jacob-Bella. Because for me, the biggest thread that joins them right now is the pain they're BOTH going through. That's what connects them and brings them close. In New Moon, Bella got attached to Jacob because he became her support and not because Jacob was going through what she was.

But only after reading Twilight, I would say it may be possible for a person to fall in love more then once. I could never go against Bella for falling in love with Jacob, but she NEVER loved Jacob the way she loved Edward. It just can't be the same.

But the way Majan's relationship has been shown for the past two years and even now, Mayank falling for Gunjan, or vice versa is just not possible to imagine. Because their's is a relationship I just can't see that way. And no, its not because of SaJan or Mayur but because I don't see THEIR relationship that way.

Some day or the other, they will need somebody alongside, they cannot live without love in their lives for long. And frankly, if I continue watching the new season, I WILL have to accept the changes and move on with the characters. 😳

I can see where you're coming from. Seem like a twilight fan, right?
But you're forgetting a thing Rida. Twilight is the last example you should actually be giving. The scenario there was completely different. Bella has in a way just used Jacob for her solace. Bella is the most shallow character I have ever come across. And over there, if you're forgetting, Edward wasn't dead, and Bella had hopes for him to return. And she did ditch Jacob just to be with Edward, didn't she?

So you indirectly comparing Bella and Mayank makes NO sense to me. Mayank here knows that Nupur will never come back, and I do not dismiss the fact that he does need love, but the fact that you feel it should be Gunjan doesn't really make sense to me.

I'd rather compare the current MayUr track to PS. I love you. A similar situation had arose in there. After the death of Gerry, Holly had become miserable. But slowly and gradually, with the guidance of Gerry, she learnt to live life again. And she did not need to fall in love again. So What I'm saying is, sometimes you just need that will to live, which I'm sure Mayank has. He has the will to live for Nupur, because he knew that Nupur would never want him to remain miserable throughout his life. She would love him forever, and this love is more than enough for a person to remain content for the rest of his life.

So here, I;d rather say Mayank is Holly, while Nupur is Gerry.

Anyway, I hope you didn't find this post offensive. This my two cents. SO I'd say, I'm kindly disagreeing to what you say.

ok first of all majan's relationship is wrong.....mayank knows its wrong for them to hold samrat responsible for nupurs death.....he also knows how much sajan love each other.....that would be evil and messed up of him to then try to get with gunjan....therefore majan should not happen!....yes every guy has the right to move on.....but this is a show and its for entertainment.....so i was nupur back!......naina
