The fact that I want Nupur back in the show and its not the same for me without her won't colour my judgement about the actors who are there in the show.
I just loved Mayank today. In the Barsi scene, his eyes spoke volumes! It was evident that even three years after that fateful day when he lost his wife, the wounds are still raw. And when Nupur came looking more gorgeous than ever in that red saree, I literally got lost in her eyes reflecting the same pain of separation her husband feels. The final farewell scene of MayUr was beautifully shot I must say.
Then when Mayank opens that offer letter inviting him back to the place which holds countless memories and echoes of broken dreams, I was like, aw! Fate has played cruelly with my MayUr.
Enter Gunjan. Firstly, I love her look! From plain Jane to a normal, today's girl. Her entry was not as gripping as SaYank's but it was the sweetest and cutest! Even her eyes were filled with grief of losing her sister who literally brought her up. Mayank and Gunjan have clearly gone through the same pain and grief in the past three years. Both have been shattered at losing the girl they loved more than dear life itself. Nupur, clearly, meant the world to them and her death has created a void nothing can ever fill. They may move on in life, but that gaping hole in their heart where Nupur lived, that emptiness will never disappear. Their phone conversation conveyed a lot. They've clearly supported each other as a family in the past three years. Good for them.
This tragedy has the potential to move even stones to tears: A 19-year-old girl, full of life, with a bright future to look forward to and a loving and doting husband by her side brutally losing her life in an accident, an 18-year-old girl who hardly got her real mother's love losing the sister who never let her feel so, a husband losing his young wife with his whole life to look forward to alone and lastly, a guy who has been abandoned by his love and his best friend because they feel he is responsible for all this and the guy, himself, feels so.
P.S. Guys, I'm treating this as a situation and not a show. I am not discussing actors and Cvs here but the characters and stories as a real life situation. So I would request you guys treat it the same way otherwise only bashing will occur and no healthy discussion will take place. Please refrain from commenting "I don't care if Rati/Nupur isn't there". I'd rather you not comment if you don't care about my post. I'm missing Nupur as much as anyone in this forum but I have to handle this as a mature human being. I'm doing my bit in trying to bring her back but I can't end the rest of my life for this purpose. Thank you.
