Well i ve been a silent visitor of this forum n this is my vry first post here...but i had to come n make this post...
Wat were they thinking...The makers of the show...Y i say this...
First of all, bumping off THE MOST POPULAR n LOVED CHARCTER - Nupur...No offense to the Saajan fans here but its a fact tht Nupur was the most popular n the strongest character of MJHT...N i dont see any point in bumping her off...the only 2 reasons tht come to my mind are - Either rati was having differences with the production team (similar to ksg n CVs in DMG) or This has been done to provide a shock to the viewers...n she will be back on the show...in the meanwhile it would give the new cast a chance to establish themselves....i seriously hope its the 2nd option...
Secondly, a word bout the new cast...now seriously wat were they thinking here! Rohan DOES NOT look like a college student..Period! N wat can i say bout his acting...lets not even get there...so makers...was there a dearth of good looking actors who look like college students? or forget the looks, were u guys sleeping thru his auditions tht u failed to see tht this guy cant act to save his life!
Comin to Ash - in my opinion she is as wannabe as wannabe can get...again just like rohan, neither does she look nice (like sanaya or rati) nor can she act - at least not this role...i quite like the character...but am sorry to say...srijita is just not right to play this character...it just doesnt gel or connect!
I havent seen the other 2 in the show yet...but going by the promos, i have no hopes! The girl who s gonna play rhea was a splitsvilla 3 contestant n trust me she was a big wannabe on tht show atleast...i have no doubts tht she s gonna be as pathetic in this as she was there...
U see even DMG did something like this wen they started with season 2 - bumped off armaan n ridhhima n came with a new cast...i knw ppl r talkin bout the similarity here...but they r forgetting a BIG DIFFERENCE - the difference being the new cast...1st of all, getting Karan Wahi was a super decision simply coz, he s a known face, he looks awesome n is a fab actor...in fact, i tolerated season 2 ONLY for him n his acting...Secondly, Neha who played naina - again vry pretty n good acting skills...sehbaan was awkward initially but he was a good looker - plus he suited yuvi's role to the T...tamannna was a disappointment n thts y she was removed i guess...so basically DMG season 2 atleast got their casting right...perfect actors for the characters where MJHT has failed miserably!
But even DMG season 2 could not get good ratings n THEY HAD TO GET JENNY BACK!!! The makers of MJHT might think tht Jenny's pairing with KW has worked n ppl have accepted Sid n Ridhhima in that show so maybe even Sam n Ash can work...but wat they r again forgetting is the fact tht the reason Jeran have been accepted like this is coz of the awesome chemistry these 2 share...It needed only 1 scene for us to get hooked onto this couple...
On the contrary the chemistry b/w samraat n ash - is tht of a brother n sis! n i dont see this pair getting accepted ever! Plus KW was one guy who could at least stand his own in front of KSG...Srijita in front of Sanaya? I have my doubts!
Am sorry for the long post but i had to express my disappointment to the makers...they ve seriously gotten it wrong this time...n trust me guys, its only time tht they will realize their blunder n get rati back...n u knw wat u have to do for tht - come wat may, do not accept this! boycott, keep mailing..calling...do watever u can but force them to give us our old MJHT back! Take a leaf out of Kash fans on DMG forum - we worked for 2 yrs! n have finally got our Shona back!
So dont worry guys, we can get our MJHT and our Mayur back - But only if WE WANT!!!
