Many women remain the unsung heroes of our modern times...that is fine for we do not seek glory nor praise
To see 'women' given JUSTICE with honourable characterizations is no small thing! It is the most noble duty finally being seen!
In mjht we were given not one, but many...Shilpa Aunty and CJ to name a few...however they have been all left by the way...ONLY NUPUR REMAINS...if she goes then so do our hopes of seeing a strong female role model for our most desperate times...
To me it seems obvious enough...if Nupur leaves...then so do women who finally found justice through her...we will we go...to where ever 'she', those who gave her life....Rati...and writers....go....
So true Sabah, women are the unsung heroes and not just of the modern times but through out history they have been, unfortunately not many names have been a part of the books and record. I agree women are not seeking any praise but then if that due acknowledgment would have been given, the world would be a different place to live in.Beautiful! Exactly, justice is what we lack in our times!
However as it is said, it is never too late. Such characters like Nupur and Shilpa aunty,on indian television have made many think and question the orthodox views and beliefs pertaining to the male dominance in today's society in general. I love the fact that with the excpetion of Samrat, all those that nurtured Mayank into the north star of stars in not just men but humankind were women. His mother, NUPUR, CJ, tamana mam Look how he addresses his mother's barrister friend, the way he handles Sheena's advances and lies...just last great gentleman...what will happen to this man once that light that nourishes is gone! He will fade and diminish for sure...He will live on...but love on....ONLY Nupur's moonlight lighted up those sealed caverns within his heart.
Of course I would want him to move on...but I could NOT watch for it could never be the same!
These strong characters projected just as strongly on the screen as paper don't only provide any entertainment but indeed have so much more than mere entertainment. These women have created history and it would be sheer disgrace to just end all this development and potential growth at this stage. So many MJHT viewers watched due to the strong female characters...so many will undoubtedly leave as they are killed off, forgotten or ignored...SO MANY HAVE DONE SO ALREADY...for even in three months I have lost a handful and noticed others leave before I had the opportunity to to know them at all!
So well said, many women found justice and a proper niche for themselves in the society through her, I would like to clap aloud for all these women and Rati for providing such a beautiful gift to women.I applaud them all, RATI, the writers...but mostly Rati, for her love nurtured Nupur beyond what words, even in hisorial books as you said, could never have achieved. A lasting legacy for women, that we can all say spoke the truth! Not only our strengths, but our thoughts, our manners, our ways which although may produce the same results as men are truly very very different to their means!
Thank you for sharing this with us Sabah.Butterfly, to leave it unsaid would disgrace us all, but mostly me, as a woman!
