I'm making a post after a veryyyyy long time, and I felt there's a strong need for me to make one now. Before getting started, I'd like to say that Mads, Diya, Meens, Kavya, Naveen, Anu, Aabha, Jia, Naz, Anjie its all becoz of u guys that I am able to write this. Awwwww!! Ive already PMed you about it, im soo happy that you had the strength to post such an AMAZING, MINDBLOWING, EXCELLENT Essay Di !!!!! Awww!! Di !! It was SaJans love which gave you the strength to write this post !!! I llove you sooooo soooo muchh toooooo !!!! We all know that Gunjan and Samrat share a bond, a relationship, which stands firm of the strong pillars of unconditional and selfless friendship, trust, faith, belief, respect and love for each other. In simple words, they live for each other.
I knowww !! There relationship is soo soo unique - selfless and uncoditional are the best adjectives to describe their relationship. Remember when Gunjan found out about the bet ? Even if they weren't really friends, she still maintained her promise and helped him for his exams. This doesn't really go well with your paragraph, I knoww !! lolzz!! sorry for that, Di !! but I just felt like mentioning that scene !! Cause even there you see that if not even friends, they still do care for each other..Maybe not directly - but indirectly. Gunjan did fulfill her promise in the end even if after knowing that there was this bet between Samrat and Dia. And remember, already at that time - Samrat was sharing with his best friend Benjy how he felt bad about hiding the bet thing from Gunjan. I won't call it love at first sight, but there was surely some attraction between them - just like magnets!! I'll take u to their first meeting. For me, it was right there and then, that their eyes connected their hearts and from their onwards, this connection grew stronger and stronger and reached the point where they became the reason for each other's existence. They smiled together, laughed together, cried together, shared every happiness, every fear, every joy, and every pain. Where else we will find such pure and eternal love??? But at every stage, after every step, their love had to pass through a test, and each one of them brought SG more and more closer, and strengthened and deepened the bond of their love.

Remember during the RJ hunt - they both behaved as if they were together, in love. But they weren't !! They were "just" best friends. I feel SaJan have redefined the term friendship !! Or atleast they have defined there's something..which is more than friendship..but not love...not yet!! the inter phase between those twoo !!
Exactly !! Every time there was a new entry or a new track - this was sort of an exam. They had to struggle a lot to pass this test, but in the end it is always paid off. Those exams brought them much closer and closer. - Pool Party, Valentines Night, Sheena, RV, Accident, Morena etc. The first time they met, was more of an adverse meeting. He had planned wid his friends to play a prank on her and her sister. But this was their planning. Destiny had something else stored for them. She fell in the pool and he jumped in to save her. It was an unwelcoming welcome for her. Both the sisters decided to leave from that party, but something forced her to turn around. It was here that their eyes connected and developed a connection that still exists between them. At times, they don't need any words to communicate wid each others, they don't let any words come b/w each other. One's eyes speak and the other's understands.

He just had to save her! He was mesmerized by her. They indeed had a heart to heart connection. I just loved it when Nupur tells Gunjan that they ll leave immediately. But both of them can't help but look at each other. It would be just a prank...had it been any other girl, Im sure he wouldnt have minded to play a prank on her..but to Gunjan ? No, he just couldn't!! Gunjan - she thought probably that the guy pushed her into the pool - even if unintentionally - she fell into the water and she couldn't swim! Any girl would be totally upset or atleast shocked. She was herself, too. But she still HAD to turn and look at him. There was some communication between them in that very few seconds - which will be a secret for us or atleast for me !! So, the journey started from here. After this meeting, they avoided each other, coz they had no reason to come in each other's way. But somehow, in one way or the other, they came in front of each other, and every time their eyes met, that sent a sweet pain to their hearts, which touched their souls. Still, they were strangers.
They kept meeting unwantedly - and each time they met they couldn't ignore each other. Samrat - even if there were other girls in class - he still was attracted towards Gunjan. Even if it was just to tease her or just because Dia was ordering him, he still did it with pleasure, didnt he? Lolzzz!! okay this sounds strange !! lmaoo !!
but here comes another scene into my mind. Remember when he asks her what her name is etc..Gunjan - she knows when to talk and when not to. She didnt find it neccessary to talk to him. But he said something...to which Gunjan had to react and talked so muchh !! Awww!! it was soo adorable. That really shows that they sooo soo cant ignore each other - since day 1!! Then days passed and one day he heard her singing. Her sweet, melodious and pure voice entered from his ears, and went straight to his heart. How cud he let this nature's gift go waste?? She must sing. Every1 must listen to this voice and melt wid its purity. He had to convince her to sing, by hook or by crook. And it worked. She trusted him and for the first time in her life, she came in front of the world to showcase her talent, a talent which she had within her, but never let it come to surface. It was the beginning of a new facet of their lives. It was the beginning of their friendhip. A friendship, that was meant to live forever. Life became beautiful. He was there whenever she needed him and she was there whenever he needed her. It was this firendship that paved the way for their love. Just like we plant seeds in the ground and they blossom into beautiful plants, flowers and fruits. Similarly, this friendship was, and is, the seed of their relationship which has blossomed into the beautiful flower of their love. But if this was the beginning of their love, so their first test was on their way'

It was a wonderful relationship that they had. He was always amongst friends, but she gave him friendship. And for her, he was her first friend. For others, he was the college dude, the heartthrob, the rich brat, but for her, he was only Samrat, a wonderful human being and the most genuine friend.
As for her, she was an shy, introvert, studious, small town girl, who was always hidden behind her books. But for him, she was HIS Chashmish, the most beautiful, exceptional, and caring friend, who brought peace and harmony in his otherwise messed up and artificial life.
Wasn't everything perfect??? Yes, and no. She finally came to know that her tp singing was a bet he had made wid his friends. How cud he do this?? How cud he play wid her emotions so mercilessly?? She trusted him more than herself and in return wat she got was betrayal. She decided to part ways. And for him it was no less than a life imprisonment. Though, he started off wid the bet, but he had no bad intentions. He supported her genuinely, not for winning himslef, rather wanted to see her win in the tp. Everything else became secondary for him and there was just one focus and that was to get her back in his life and never to let her feel alone. He, without disclosing, helped her in college activities, competitions and remained her friend, but the status changed into a secret one.
This broken friendhip was not only hurting him, but she was also suffering every minute, or mayb every second. She had to dance on the valentine's night. It was not her domain. How cud she do it without anyone's help?? And just like the tp, he held her hand, taught her the moves, gave her the confidence and assured her of his support..And all this helped her in battling wid her nervousness.
Finally, the night came, and wid it, it brought the biggest gift for them. They got their friendship back, as if, they got their lives back. Life came back to the track. They sang together, danced together, smiled together and with the tears of happiness shed away the dark memories of the bet, the past.
He got his friend back and she got her friend' no, he was more of a friend now. She entered a phase in her life, which was just in her dreams. She was getting close to him. His presence, his absence, his voice, his touch, everything about him, got her attracted towards him. She cudn't figure out wat it was, why had her feelings changed, why from just a friend he became so special?? The answer was'she was in love wid him. Being the selfless girl that she is, she didn't expect anything in return. The rose day came wid a smile and a hope of confession of love from his side, and ended wid tears in her eyes. Tears of being just his friend, but these tears also had contentment of having the most special person of her life as her best friend. But for her, and unknowingly for him also, another test was knocking on the door..

Sheena came in their lives. Samrat was attracted to her and Gunjan's heart broke. Still, she never let her emotions overshadow her friendship wid Samrat. Be it Sheena, or no Sheena, she was always there for him, and he was there for her. This time again, their love had to fight a battle. Gunjan broke their friendship, her heart, her dreams only for Samrat, coz he wanted to go ahead wid his relationship wid Sheena. She sacrificed her happiness for him, for them. Again destiny came into play. Sheena fell in her own trap, and Sam went to jail. This physical confinement freed his heart, his soul and just like a free bird, wid his emotions left open, he listened to wat his heart had been telling him. He understood his reason for existence, for life, for love and that reason was only and only Gunjan.
The tubelight that he was, he took his time, kabhi accepting this fact and kabhi denying it. But in the war of heart versus mind, heart won and the tubelight finally glowed, spreading its brightness of love all around him. But before he cud confess his love to his life, another misunderstanding emerged and Gunjan went back to Morena.
He followed her and eventually the day came when the two love birds opened their hearts in front of each other and confessed their love. She promised that she'll always be a part of his life and he promised that he'll never let any tears come in the world's most beautiful eyes, i.e. her eyes. But then again, tears were ringing the door bell'

Bui were not in favor of letting Gunjan and Nupur go back to Mumbai. Gunjan cud never go against her elder's decision and Samrat cud never do anything which was against the moral or ethical values. The journey that started wid promises of spending whole life together was on the verge of making them go away from each other. The promise of never letting any tear come in the world's most beautiful eyes was on the brinkof getting washed away wid strings of tears rolling down those eyes. It was again a test, a test which if they failed, meant miles and miles of distance between them.
But the next day, clouds of sorrow shattered and the sunlight made its way on the sky of their love. They were together and dis time, he was given the responsibility of taking care of her. They came back to Mumbai, with loads of love and dreams of a lifetime together. He asked her for their first date and she agreed. The date was magical (despite all the adversaries). They talked their hearts out. It was as simple and pure as they both are. The whole night passed as in the blink of an eye, coz there was so much to say, so much to listen, and so much to feel.
They both were finally living their dreams together, but the next imtihan, the next test was right in front of their eyes..

This time it was none other than Sam's own sister Suhani. She came and became a dear friend of all the gang members. But there was an undisclosed mission of her entry. She wanted her brother back and for this Gunjan offered her full support, coz she knew how important family is and more so for Sam, who has always longed for his family. So, for him, she took the risk. But this risk didn't pay off. Sam came to know of the reality and this time he felt betrayed. Both of them were again in pain. There was a big question mark in front of them, but like always, the answer lied within their hearts. They just needed to talk things over and then everything wud b back on the track.
And this is wat exactly happened. As soon as their eyes met, every other feeling went to the backfoot and their confidence, trust and love for each other made them clear all the misunderstandings, And the end result was a small peck on his cheek and a smile, that originated from their hearts, on their faces. Here, one wud feel, all is well that ends well.. but again..

Rift between Gunjan and Nupur started after the latter's wedding and Sam became the culprit of it. Nupur blamed him, pointed fingers towards him (out of her love for Gunjan only, coz she never wanted anything bad to happen to her lill sister). So much so, that Nupur's fear made her intervene in SG's most magic, heartfelt and soulful date. The beautiful and magical, date which started off with the talk of dreams, smiles, hope, closeness,celebration of love, ended up wid tears and mayb a guilt that both of them exceeded their limits. This issue became so intense that the sisters ended up with an argument for the first time in their lives, and the target here were bauji and especially Sam.

Their love was blooming, but the sister's problem was very much there. And then the night of heartbreak came. Circumstances made Gunjan believe that Sam will propose her on the valentine's nite. Her dream was coming to reality and she was elated. So was he, coz it was the night of the lovers. But then, the unbelievable happened. She tried to tell him that if they want to spend whole life together, they have to get married one day, but Sam didn't believe in this institution. And he unintentionally broke her dreams, her hopes and her heart. She laid down on the hospital bed, not even fighting for her life,coz there was no will to live. And he was left alone in their whole group of friends, cursing and blaming himself every moment for her condition. This was one of the most toughest exam of their love. He brought her back from the door of death, but her recovery wasn't complete. So, a test within a test, which they had to pass.

Gunjan was paralyzed, and how cud he leave her like this, see her in this condition. Another promise wid himself that he'll do watver it takes to make her walk on her own feet, and this battle, they both will fight together. And this is wat happened. Day and night, his aim was just to bring Gunjan back to normalcy, and her aim was, to avoid Samrat and to make him go away from her incomplete life. Words became harsh, but eyes didn't, and the souls never disconnected. He tried, she fell. He tried again, and she fell again. But this wasn't the end. The fight had to go on, till they achieved their goal. He tried everything, but nothing worked. And in the end, he simply offered his own life to her. Right in front of her eyes, he was lying on the ground, with the bulldozer just inches away from him, so how cud she not save him, save herself. So, the legs that were adamant to move, got the sensation back in them. She rushed and saved him. Life's charm returned and they both glowed with each other.Here again the same thing, all's well that ends well. But was it the end??? No, the next test was in their hands'

Princess came in their lives. We all were sooo excited to see SG with her, but that didn't happen. It was a lame track, yet the thing that survived all throughout it was SG's trust. Though, mostly they weren't shown together, and mayb it wasn't a track directly aimed towards them, yet we saw the whole shift towards Sam in the end. They came out this time also, with their blind trust and faith on each other. Sam was sure that he didn't do anything wrong, still if the baby was his, he told every1 that he won't avert from his responsibility. And Gunjan was as usual, his support. She promised him that she'll always stand by him through every thick and thin. The whole mess resolved. They thanked each other again for coming into their lives, sang and danced together. He sang, "tumhein pata toh hoga, tumhi pe mein fida hun, tumhein hai jabse chaha, hwaon mein udta hun", and she replied, "tumhein pata toh hoga, ke merey dil mein kya hai, chalo kahey deti hun, kabhi nahin ji kaha hai. Tumhein merey her pal mein, tum aj mein tum kal mein. Hey shona, hey shona". Life became perfect again until'.

Now Neil is back in her life, in her life. We all SaJanians were and are (with a heavy heart) looking fwd to this track'mayb. Well, lemme confess.. I'm NOT AT ALL that courageous to see SG in such a condition, in sooo much pain. Through words, they r saying something else, but their eyes are telling a different story altogether. I've been a dramaholic all my life, but haven't seen such an emotional bonding ever before. The way we perceive(d) this track is that this will make Sam do away wid his insecurities, realize the importance of marriage, and in the end, want to marry Gunjan not for her sake, but for their sake, for the sake of spending their whole life together. We all agree that marriage is too early for them, but atleast some of my friends here and I, cud foresee Sam giving a commitment or an engagement ring to Gunjan. But so far this track is overflowing wid emotions, fears and tears for us SG fans.
The way SG look at each other, the way they don't want to let go off each other, the way their expressions are depicting the pain they our going thorugh, pierces and eventually breaks our hearts (atleast mine). In last nite's epi.. he said, "tum yunhi chali jaogi".. He can't see her lose, leave any opportunity, compromise wid life, coz she is the most talented girl, yet he somewhere in his heart knows that things will not remain the same if she goes ahead with thif film. And she, she already was nervous, scared, but these couples of words, took the life out of her. It seemed as if she wanted to say a lot, but could only manage, "nahin, kabhi nahin". To me it seemed that those eyes, the hearts, the souls were dying to give up everything else, and just find peace in each other's arms till eternity. But they remained composed, not for their own selves, but for each other.
This test of their love is left us completely numb, speechless, dumbfounded. Every night, before the epi, the heart beat races. Their gaze kills us and we feel their pain. I don't know whether I'm seriously looking fwd to dis track or not. But then realize that mayb, as we all discussed, it is essential for THEIR relationship. However, I can't help have a few serious fears (apart from the ones that we all have) which I'd like to share wid u all.
Sam said, "merey liye who hamesha Chashmish hi rahey gi"..and Neil said, "acha naam dia hai tumne..Chashmish". Wat if for the sake of the role, Neil tells her to remove her specs??? This spec is not there for seeing, this spec, this Chashma is her identity..the identity which Sam has given to her..the identity which if Sam doesn't call her by, she starts hating her very existence, her own name Gunjan. So, wat will happen if Sam's Chashmish has to remove her Chashma???
Another fear.. the "S" pendent.. I seriously hope and pray that I'm over-hoping and over-reacting, but wat if again the role demands her to take off that gift, that symbol of love??? Wat will she pass through and how will he react to it?? These thoughts just kill me..
I won't talk abt whether film line was and is Gunjan's dream or not, or, whether Neil (repeating only two dialogues so far) was really required or not, coz there have already been quite a few discussions going on in the forum. But I wud like to say and conclude wid is that, this is another test of SaJan and their love. No matter how much pain they, and with them we all, r going thorugh and will go through, deep down in our hearts, we all have this faith that like always, SaJan will fight and win this battle together, and we might see a new beginning of their relationship. So, like i'm doing, when sad or lose hope for them, just think that it's another "ishq ka imtihan" for SaJan and they will pass it wid flying colors, like they always do.
I'm sorry for such a loooong post, but believe me, it was very important for me to write this.
Lastly, I've just put my thoughts across. If I've hurt any1's feelings, plzzz forgive me, coz I do not intend to do so. Looking fwd to ur replies and comments.
