What makes SaJan so special…
First of all they are very good at heart.. Gunjan is visibly so good at heart.. Samrat looked like a mischievous college students who like to do masti and fun but he is also essentially very good at heart and would never want to hurt anybody…
They both are so opposite each other and it is true that opposites attract… Interesting part is they both are opposite each other and their inner selves and outer selves are also opposite to each other.. Samrat is very cool, outgoing and confident dude from outside but he is very insecure and lonely guy from inside (The way he opened his innerself to Nupur in new year party thinking of her as Gunjan proves that). Whereas Gunjan is very shy, low confidence girl from outside but she is rock solid from inside especially when it comes to her near and dear ones, she will go thru anything for them. So they connect each other very well as Gunjan's outer self connect to Samrat's inner self and vice versa and same for Samrat. This is the biggest reason they understand each other very well because at some level, they see their own glimpses in each other at some level.
Their love did not start strightaway. When they properly met each other for the first time after saving Gunjan from pool, Samrat only understood one thing… he has to take care of this girl whatever happens… It was not the meeting as Samrat always imagined like there will be thousand metallic guitars and live performance of drum roll. But it does not alomost ever happen right. We find love at the place we are not searching for… Because love searches us… we can't search love (Same thing happened to Nupur when she admitted in the last part of drama that she always wanted a rajkumar on safed ghoda but not anymore as Mayank is much more than that).
But there was definitely some chord struck between the two as they became best friends… What makes their love so special is the fact that they are best friends first and later lovers… That's why they can say whatever their feelings are to each other without any awkwardness (That's why Gunjan told him she wants to get married to him and he told her he does not believe in marriage because with an amazing bond of friendship, they can share anything in the world… Precisely what Gunjan wanted when she made him promise that they will always be friends first on the night of MaYur reunion.
The way they have changed each other in a positive way is so good… They never hide their faults from each other… they loved each other's faults too and nobody tried to make the other's fault go away explicitly. It was a process. The way Gunjan taught Samrat to respect other people's feelings and space during their broken friendship track and the way Samrat changed Gunjan's shyness and made her a confident girl was a process that was going on for like 6 months or more and we saw these positive changes in them after a long time which is so natural and that made then come closer to each other more than anything…. I liked the way Samrat said that we will forget Chashmish and Gunjan will learn dance from me during their dance lessons so as not to make her feel awkward and stil help her… He took one advantage during the time saying "Ek galti to sabko maaf hoti hai na"… it was so natural with us… we will never miss a chance to take advantage of such situation… It is so natural and that made a lot of change in Gunjan's thought process and helped them being friends again…
Their friendship, their chemistry, their bond from heart, their understanding for each other, respect for each other, purity of their hearts, responsibility of each other, simpliciy of their relationship, Gunjan's innocense and Samrat's charm and finally LOVE make them so special. It is so very true what Samrat said her when he was taking her help for picking up gifts for Sheena. "We are soulmates". They so are !!!!
I could go on for 3-4 more pages but don't want to bore you… I could not put my thoughts properly .. Please pardon me for that…

Was just watching the scene whre Gunjan almost dies and Samrat was calling her back... I can't believe what he must have gone thru when he was watching thru that hospital window... Must have died million deaths himself....

hey gina superb post as always 👏 sajan 's simplicity and beauty of their heart made me fall for them, the way sam cares for her and the way gun respects her each and every view make me proud to be sajan's fan, i have no words to describe my januables i mean they have mutual understanding though they r different from their thoughts, they do anything for each other to make each other happy not only sam's side but also gun's side *opposite attracts* but here they persona may be being good human being they find each other 's beautiful heart and fall for each other, relationship needs mutual understanding, trust and faith and here we have in sajan , kudos to monaya for portraying them so well 👏
