Hi guys!!!
I'm new to this forum so will start with a brief intro abt me.. I'm Ayesha. I'm a lecturer by profession and so am elder to most of u out here. But wait.. not that old actually coz i started teaching right after my MBA. So, u can say that i may be elder to u but am still very much young at heart 😊
I've been a viewer of MJHT from almost the start of the program. The reason may be that being continuously a part of the academic field (firstly as a student, and then as a lecturer), i could actually relate to most of the things being showed in the program. I could identify with the cool dude of the college (Samrat), the academic star (Mayank), the style diva (Dia) with her gang of admirers (whom we rarely see nowadays), the cool dude's chamcha Benji, (sorry cudn't find a better word to define him, but here i mean chamcha in a very much positive way who is actually the support system of the cool dude), the harmless brother Uday, the happy-go-lucky girl (Nupur), and lastly, my favorite, the shy yet strong, beautiful, innocent and a strong girl (Gunjan).
When i saw this program it could actually see that almost every college has the cool dude who is the dream of every girl, who likes to flirt with them, loves to take all the attention. But when it comes to his friends, he is one of the most loyal, caring and affectionate friend. And the most important trait of his is that, despite being a stud, presumably a flirt, he never crosses his limits. This is actually the outer of this college hero. But from inside he wants a companion who loves him unconditionally (i.e. not for his superstardom, but for what he actually is). So, who else could understand this dude better than the sweet and innocent gunjan. Believe me I have actually seen boys like samrat falling for simple girls like gunjan, maybe because whatever they do in college is all very made-up,maybe artificial coz girls want to be with the STAR of the college, but these simple girls bring tranquility in their lives. (I'd like to tell u a all here, that in my college days, i used to be a lot like Gunjan. Didn't like to mix up wid ppl, had very few friends, had defined my limits, thus, was more of a teacher to my classfellows whose assignments and projects used to be copied by everyone 😊). This is also what I saw in my few years of teaching experience, the cool dude falling for the shy and introvert girl of the class/college. (Here I must say that kudos to both Mohit and Sanaya for portraying this role so beautifully. I don't think ANYONE else could have done justice to these roles the way these two have done.) By the way, you all must have guessed by now that I am a HUGE Samrat-Gunjan fan and now i watch the show ONLY for these two.
Coming to the other couple, that also is very evident in every college. The "perhako" chap of the class (be it a boy or a girl) always try to find their way in books, libraries, projects, assignments etc... but while doing so, they don't even realize when they fall in love with the person who has almost the opposite traits but are genuine and strong. Believe me these perhako's are as much dedicated and sincere in their relationship as they are towards their studies. So, Nupur and Mayank are very much the reality of every college and these two roles are also performed beautifully by the two actors.
I'm sorry but I haven't seen a strory similar to that of Suhani and Adhiraj as such coz i haven't understood the characteristics of Adhiraj's (one day he's an arrogant person and all of a sudden he's become so mild. A lot of confusion boss 😊). Suhani, i think was not even needed in this serial. So, despite giving them various thoughts, I can't actually relate to these two. (I again apologize to all their fans).
The other members of the gang are like perfect and whenever i see them they take me down the memory lane to my classfellows and students.
So that's my assessment of the relevance of MJHT and its characters. I would love to have your views on my post. I know its a lengthy one but believe me i've edited it quite a few times and this is the minimum i could have. So, hopefully will keep in touch. It will be great knowing you all here.
