Mayank's post marriage jitters -- A bad twist?

First off, I loved the way Mayank was nervous today 😳 He was too cute! The way he was going up and down the room and Nupur looking at him in such a 'wifey' way 😳😳

And their lovely conversation.... or rather nervous conversation.. Mayank was adorable! And as usual ArTi's expressions were priceless!

But I just hope that his post marriage nervousness is not alluding to a very bad twist later on. I hope at some point defeated by the 'circumstances' he won't think that marriage was a bad move. After all, all the times before when Nupur mentioned marriage he wasn't ready for it.

Even the day of the marriage, he only went there to stop it... but then Bauji's so called order he couldn't refuse.... I'm very happy to see MayUr together, but I seriously hope considering marriage a mistake won't be the next bad twist.

I agree Mahi di .. i really hope its not the twist! That would suck..and quite honestly Mayur went through enough for now! I think they need a break!

Though you bring up a good point! Mayank is by nature a very cautious and careful individual - thinks before he acts - except of course when it comes to our very pyaari Nupur - then all his reasoning evaporates!!

The nervousness he was displaying is a good sign - because it is true that they do have a monumental task ahead of them - and it is not going to be easy to study and work at the same time and bear the responsibiities of a new wife - and he will loose heart at times - it is but natural! The fact that he realizes the uphill task is is a good sign! Because realization is often half the battle!!

However I feel that Mayank has a strong character and is not a person who loses faith easily - he displayed that when Samrat was in jail - though he may face a few stumbling blocks and start doubting himself a little on the way he will come out a winner in the end and in this! I think Nupur will help him!!

One thing I have noticed in the last couple of episodes is Nupur's role!! She is always giving him "himmat" - like she said that hum dono ek dusre ko himmat denge (something to that effect) - She will be the force behind her man!! I hope she actually is also! Both in today's epi and yesterday's epi - she's the one who's reassuring him that they did right and the fact they're together is the most important - and they will overcome the rest together - and I think (and hope) this will reinforce Mayank's belief in himself and his marriage to Nupur and help him come out a real winner in the end!! I so want to see that happen!!

I absolutely agree with you here!! Every single time when Mayank's thoughts are shaky, it's Nupur who gibes him the encouragement and points out that together they will win over anything!

I'm glad that Nupur's providing that support system for Mayank! And every single time she says that, Mayank's nervousness disappears.

Not necessarily divorce, but a bad phase when Mayank thinks that the marriage was a bad idea. It may not lead to divorce but MayUr fights, rona dhona and all. I just hope that does not happen.

We've seen MayUr go through a LOT as Rosh said and now I just want them to be together and happy!!

But I keep having this bad feeling that if the creatives run out of ideas, which they usually do, this will be the next terrible twist for MayUr.

@bold - So true I've noticed that too! And have noticed the other way too - Mayank's strength calming Nupur - the fact that they both can bring out the best in each other and have a strong support system amongst each other - will make them what Nupur always tells Mayank that they are - the "best jodi"!!

great post! But i really hope this program doesn't end up going to the dogs one day cos of the typical storyline...

I soo wish the creatives portray MN married life in a different way... and not take the same story route as many programs have nowadays!
