I don't post here very often even though i visit the forum all the time.
I guess i'm a little late in posting this topic, but i had to get back to earth after watching the amazing SaJan confession last night!!! I've seen the whole thing so many times that i've lost count. đ
The first barn scene was great! I loved the way he referred to TP and V-Day. Both of which were a major turning point in their relationship. Mohit was amazing in the whole scene.đ đ đ

I admit, i didn't want the confession to be this soon. I wanted Sammy to suffer a little before he confessed. But now that it happened I'm not disappointed at all.
I know many people didnt like it that Samrat addressed her as Chashmish instead of Gunjan. When i saw the precap for the first time i felt that Gunjan would have been better too. But later when i thought about it, i think it makes sense. Initially Samrat might have called her that to just tease her. But later, after they became best friends, he has always called her chashmish as a sort of nickname. Even when he's talking to himself he refers to her as chashmish. So it would have been weird if he calls her Gunjan just for the confession even though 'Gunjan' sounds more passionate. I mean, I refer to my best friend by her nickname all the time and whenever someone else calls her by her real name i feel like they are talking about someone else. Well, that is just my POV. Not everyone thinks alike right?
The confession was really different from all the others i've ever seen on tv. It wasn't too dramatic or filled with a lot of cheesy dialogues. It was simple and sweet just like SaJan... The dialogues were few, they didnt go on and on about how they felt about each other. In very few simple words they expressed their feelings. It is very apt because they both understand each other so well that they don't need to put everything into words. Like Samrat said, Even though Gunjan doesnt talk much, her eyes speak a lot.
At first I thought that Samrat was a little over-confident about the whole thing. But his expression when he asked her to be a part of his life changed my opinion. There was a mixture of hope and anxiety on his face, like he was scared that she was going to say NO even after she hugged him. And when she said that she loves him too, his expression spoke volumes. He looked so joyous, like he couldn't believe his ears. I guess there's really a difference between knowing something and actually believing it.
And the hug was so passionate, I could actually feel their need to be close to each other, especially Gunjan. I didn't think it was out of her charecter to admit that she loves him. She has waited months, hoping that some day he might say those three words to her. And finally when it actually happened she just couldn't stop herself. The whole thing was simply beautiful!!!
Then came the second barn scene. They were both blushing, looking at the other shyly, as if neither could believe that the other is actually sitting next to them... It was so cute!
Finally, the scene with that wheat-stalk... It was so innocent yet so sensual. I just loved the way Gunjan smiled and the way Samrat was looking at her the whole time! âșïž
Of course, someone had to interrupt, but i'm not going into that. đĄ
Overall, it was really great! MoNaya did a really great job, wonderful dialogues and outfits were pretty good too. Both of them looked gorgeous! Also, i loved all the tunes they played on the background.
From the posts i've read so far since the episode aired, a lot of people didnt really like the confession that much. I don't think they are entirely wrong. The CVs could have done it a lot better than this. I mean, we all have been waiting for more than a year and had a lot of high expectations. On the other hand, they could have done it a lot more badly with cheesy dialogues and scenes that have been used on other couples. So I would rather settle for this.
I guess my post became a little longer than i meant it to be. Please share your views.
