My suggestions - (sorry for such a long post but cudn't help)
1. Backdrop of this show is college, please bring college back. So many things happen in day to day college life that u can just limit yourself to those activities and still not run out of ideas.
2. Please make it realistic in terms of activities, dialogues, thinking, relationships, education, goals, priorities of the characters and also sets. Show different aspects of a typical student life in todays times, It's not all about romeo julliet style love anymore. People being in relationship still worry about their future, work towards their goal, even work part time....in short are sensible and mature.
3. Please don't sideline MN. They are equally important specially to soooo many people who love them. Arjun and rati are brilliant actors, trust them with good track and you'll be amazed what they can pull off effortlessly.
4. About characters....i'll only talk about MN
Nupur - Her character had lot of potential but the direction this character is given now is beyond my understanding. She was never afraid to experiment but she has been limited to same look and same style ever since. she was filmy but not 24/7 which she is now. She was confident but the thin line between being confident and being over the top has been crossed by her these days. When she came she was ignorant didn't know things like salsa,hang-out etc which was understandable as she came from a small town though gunjan is from the same background yet has all the elegance and poise in the world. I understand that's the character difference but why show such extremes. Can't nupur be shown a little sensible at times and not use filmy comparisons all the time. The worst thing that can happen to a character is that it turns annoying when it is not intended to do so. Please bring her charm back with some sensibility and maturity.....specially now when she is in r'ship wid a guy who is just the opposite. It's interesting to watch two opposite people in a r'ship but don't make them so different that people start questioning if they should be together in the first place.
Mayank - I love his character specially because it is very realistic. Please don't spoil it by making him give in to nupur's every demand. He should maintain his individuality.
I'll end up by saying that when so many people say the same things creatives should be able to realise that there is something wrong. I know lot of people would be working hard on this show but if people who you are catering to are not happy then it is a waste. Personally I feel that all that hard work that you guys put in also needs appreciation, love and respect from ALL sectors of audience which will be only possible when people can relate to each and every character of the show and the storyline. So I can only hope that all the suggestions on this thread by fans are considered or read atleast.

Miley Jab Hum Tum is about to complete a year. Much as we, as viewers, congratulate Star One on its success, we also need to bring forth some issues that pose a serious threat to the future of the show. Our concern is Mayank and Nupur, who have always got the short end of the stick.

* Lack of sensible tracks and screen space:

Of late, Mayank and Nupur hardly get meaningful sequences. When they do, it lasts for an episode or two and then they are back to being used either as fillers or as comic elements. Sometimes, the show fails to live up to its promised two-lead pair promotion. Its hardly fair to focus on every aspect of one couple and fall back on chemistry each time MN deserve attention as well.

* Wasting away of Arjun and Rati's brilliant potential

The actors essaying the lead roles are not only very competent individually but also share a very comfortable chemistry that makes their time onscreen a treat. They have always elevated the potential of whatever track has been given to them. The clichd lost-in-a-jungle track is now remembered as one of the show's highpoints - a fact clearly shown even in the TRP charts. Arjun and Rati have a huge fan following and scores of viewers are hooked to the show just for them. If they keep getting a raw deal, its the shortcut to losing viewers.

* Detrimental to the show's TRP ratings

The sidelining Mayank-Nupur are subjected to is indirectly responsible for the dwindling ratings. Many MN fans have resorted to watching their scenes on You Tube as the show either offers minimal screen time or tracks that fail to appeal. The post confession scenes for instance, though magical, failed to garner TRPs. Understandably so, since one section of the audience lost interest courtesy Sheena and the other had long lost interest due to MN being constantly ignored. Thus, if Mayank-Nupur scenes are considered TRP-unfriendly, then it's plainly a misconception. In fact, their talent parade salsa performance actually took MJHT to #17 on the TRP charts!

* Missing out on a potentially unique telly pair

With primetime now crowded, Mayank and Nupur came as a breeze of fresh air. The smart hunk has often fallen for the shy girl. But MN were unique, interesting and fun. Now, even though they are in a relationship, emotional bonding and understanding are conspicuous by their absence. MN seem to have run out of their share of focus just when the love story had every scope of being one of the most beautiful ever. Their relationship has way too much potential to be thus ignored.

It's our ardent request to the team of Star One to kindly heed the above points and give this much loved and hugely popular pair the attention that it deserves. In the long run, such action will guarantee a much better viewership and also add more depth and meaning to the show.

Hoping to see Miley Jab Hum Tum reach new heights of success!

What we want (well, the majority of us want):
-EQUALITY
-No more FILLER scenes between either SaJan or MayUr
-Give SG some light hearted comedy for a change
-PLEASE don't make Gunjan cry anymore for at least a month
-MN emotional bonding-SERIOUS emotional bonding, not over icecream or other things like that- we mean SERIOUS face to face talk
-CLASSES need to be shown: Not loveeeey dovey crap, but serious things
-We LOVE lovey dovey scenes, but we don't want to see it 24/7- PLEASE show us some reality
-STOP using MayUr as a side couple
-GIVE the other characters some more scenes (i.e Benji, Uday, and Dia)
-Let the entire gang hangout without cheesyness like "OMG group hug!" how about "Let's sit and talk about what's going on in our lives atm."
-More Bhushan family moments- less comedy please
This is what we used to get. This is what we WANT.
Thank you for the time.
