After a stage, I stopped taking part in the CJ thread as it was evidently of no use. There were 2 things one could do: 1) Incessantly praise a track and the efforts put into the same, even if one did not not feel whole-heartedly abt it or 2) Speak your mind. Case 1 led to a rosy situation and a 'positive' image in the forum while Case 2 labelled you a basher. But at the end of the day, both cases failed bitterly. For clearly, as she herself said, we don't matter. TRPs dont come from audiences like us.. we are ignorant enough to not realize the beauty of cardboard dates, locket romances and sleazy kisses.

I wish MJHT lots of luck and thank the makers for giving to us a lovely couple like MN.. I am happy with the theory that MN have since long left the show.. like I said elsewhere, they never returned from Ahmedabad.

The makers can suit themselves - blame the audience, blame the character, blame the world. But the show has to go on..
. Bring on the sugary sweet dialogues, vibrant costumes, fairy tale-ish situations... For the audiences who technically or otherwise matter, bring on all that is too wonderful for us insignificant people to enjoy. Frankly, I dont care two hoots.

thats exactly wat i wanted to say !! thnx😃

Bang on Debby!

I'm sorry, but we don't know what romance is! Who cares about emotional bonding anyway? We shove in perverted and sleazy kiss scenes to gain TRPs..that's all! Who cares about the viewers criticism. They'll take in any S*** we give them!

This what they think. For them, we're just a bunch of fools, watching their so called "classy" show.

It definitely seems so. I too am from a creative field, albiet a different type. And have to deal with my fair share of criticism. There have been times when you spend hours on a design and it is outright rejected by the client.

And I find the quote 'most of your opinions technically dont matter... becasue you guys dont even feature in the metered zones from where trps come... ' rather low. Then why was she here in the first place?? You cannot please everybody every single time. Take the criticism and improve on it. That's how it works, atleast for me.

@bold: Exactly. Why was she here at all if we don't even matter? Just to throw scoops on our face and watch us lap it up, swooning over the promised 'kickass' scenes?
In a creative field, or any other for that matter, its important to take criticism objectively. Its human to dislike a snub to one's ego or expect appreciation for all we do, but even if you find the criticism unwarranted for, lashing back like that is, like you said, rather low.

@bold: Classy show. 😆 😆 Oh yes Rachna, completely agree with you.
Sadly, our fool status has to show its colours one day... too much 'class' is injurious for our health.

I know honey that this topic will get closed sooner or later like all other intelligent and honest topics are but before it gets closed I don't wanna miss the chance of expressing my view.Though I was never the person who critisiced PD but after reading her note posted today I feel like insulted so badly. What does PD mean that we dont even feature in the metered zones from where trps come...
I think she is living in a fairy zone and has yet not seen the trps..If she is explaining to us technical things then we must also explain to her that technically her show is not doing any good.A show having a trp of hardly 0.9 , which doesn't even feature in the list of 50 most viewed shows on T.V. and she is saying that the fans on the forum don't matter. It feels so humiliated!!! If such a show was being telecasted on a channel like star plus/zee where almost every prime time daily enjoys a trp of 4-6 either MJHT would have been pushed to an afternoon slot or the creatives would have been asked to end the show. But since star one hardly has any shows
that enjoy such huge trps MJHT is still a prime time show.If PD says for her and the show the fans don't matter.........then let me tell her the truth, even for us she is not the only ray of hope and all.All of us watch MJHT bcoz of our extreme love and appreciation for arti and monaya and the rest of the cast of MJHT.Otherwise(leaving the actors) MJHT has nothing abt which PD is boasting. It lacks a sense of originality........ creative intelligence and 'innovation' is a word not featuring in the dictionary of MJHT creatives. The actors of MJHT are the soul saviours of this show and the reason that I still wish to remain on this forum. If PD would have gone without saying anything it really would have been much better.

I agree.Everyone here has the right to raise his/her own opinion.. Afterall, we are the ones who watch the show.. and if it doesnt meet our requirements and expectations, we have full right to express what we feel about the show!

I does hurt one's ego. But then, everyone does not have the same taste in things. I may love something which you might totally hate. But lashing back like that is low. Its like me telling a client 'You don't like my design. Oh whatever, I don't need your money'.
