OMG this sounds too good to be true! I'm finally feeling the excitement i used to feel with this show before! I cannot WAIT to watch this tonight!

But I am not happy with this track. The accident fiasco- no, not at all. And it's more on a personal level. Drinking and driving is a HUGE issue, and I really don't like such a huge issue being shown and shunned at the same time. The police officers (or some other adult) should have said something against it...not just shove Samrat behind bars. I mean, we have so many people (kids) watching this show... and I don't want anyone to be influenced by things like these. They should know that it is not right. And I really wish that issues like these were shown more into depth, or completely ignored.

Mimz !! I totally agree with you on this !! I'm only happy with the way they have started his realization process, but I have said so myself countless times, how much the creatives have messed up the events leading upto it !! Drugs and driving under influence in a youth based show should be handled with responsibilty, and the creatives have failed in doing that !! I know it useless even hoping they might say something about this in the coming episodes !! 😕

I totally get where your coming from mimzz! i wish that like english shows indian shows would pick up on very important issues. And drinking and driving and drugs is a big one! i hope they add more to it then just 2 seconds of media coming, and just a basis for Rv's revenge plan! Millions watch these shows so its the best way to get children and young adults to understand the dangers of such things!

Ok back to being sajan, loving em! hahaha give us more!😳😆

@Navz api- I agree, that's the only thing that's making sense in their storyline atm. Atleast his realization is going on a good pace (starting today.) but I'm still appauled with this track. I feel like ripping out my hair! LOL

@Naz di- Thanks for agreeing! I was tired of people asking me why I didn't like the track. LOL

When I watch MJHT, it reminds me of Degrassi's Next Generation (scratch the fact that Degrassi is a High School atmosphere, whereas MJHT is based on college life) but unlike Degrassi, MJHT fails to show what's right and wrong, and that's one thing I do not life about Indian Television. I mean, heck- if you're gonna show things like Drugs, Drinking and driving- then show it with CARE!

yeah i no! i mean mjht has come after a long time! i mean i couldnt really stand indian shows tbh..(im more into my english shows!) no offence .. (although there was remix but i didnt know about that until seeing star ones other shows page)but its just that its all about rhona dhona /saas bahu stuff, and then finally mjht comes along with college kids and im like yess! about time they understand what us young ppl want! and it all started off fine but now for some reason the storylines dont have any point to them! well i truly hope they add more to this one and then go back to college life- the way it should be; fun/masti and all!

@Naz di- Same here! I'm more of a reality show person, but MJHT looked promising, so I gave it a try. The initial episodes were fine, but now it's just frusterating. Life isn't just about love... I wish other relationships and IMPORTANT ISSUES *coughs out loud: DRUGS/DRINKING AND DRIVING* were shown with a LOT more depth.

Like you said, I hope they talk about it more before they head off to college, or the college has some sort of assembly where they say how WRONG it is

Thats a great idea! i hope they do this; so they are acknowledging atleast that it is wrong and it would be interesting to see the princi do something worthwhile for a change! he's such a comical character!(ok it can be funny but sometimes its just plain stupid!)- this would be the best opp for him to do something princi like!

@Naz di- Aagghh! I so agree! Comedy is great- but to a certain extent. I would love to see Princi, Shukla even to acknowledge that it's wrong and send POSITIVE MESSAGES to us viewers so that we know that MJHT isn't all about loveeeeeeeee but real life issues are taken into consideration too!

And yeah, lol sorry Navz api. I really needed to get that out of my system

Tonite's epi was everything is should have been !! First Sajan's desperation to talk to each other, then Sheena telling Sam that he is in love with Gunjan and then his thinking about it ! Loved all the flashbacks they used !! First time we are seeing all our fav sajan moments through Sam's eyes !! and that's when he is actually trying to understand just what it is between him an Gunjan. I would have been very disappointed if sam actually realised or said something like 'Yes I do have feelings for Gunjan'. His last scene ialogues were perfect according to me. This epi according to me should have been the start of his realization and not actually his first realization and I was'nt disappointed !!!

I'm looking so forward to next week !! I have no idea how this weekend is gonna pass by for me !!! After ages I have the same excitement that I used to have in the first few months of MJHT !!

Hey Naveen!

How are you? Lol this is the first time I've actually seen you excited. Great to see!

But as usual as much as I agree with you, I couldn't resist but throw in my 2 cents. The episode started off great and I was literally on a roll; SaJan desperate for each other was just heart melting esp Gunjan/Sanaya's expressions i,e the way she portrayed how deeply sorry she is to have left Samrat alone and her painful tears ahhh! So convincing! Really kudos to her! Samrat was great too- the way he's insisting with the officer and the fact that he got uber elated when he knew Gunjan was on the other end of the phone. Also, his concern for her- he's telling her not to cry and that he's alright -- amazing!

Next comes the part where he's wondering how could he have been so stupid as to let his ONLY friend, who'd go to any extreme to make sure he's ok, go away. And that how can Sheena think so. OK so here he's basically all like why did he choose Sheena in the first place. Great job Samrat! Finally atleast he knows that what he did was wrong and the fact that Gunjan's concern is different than any of his other friends. That was good I agree.

Then the Sheena part which was basically the crux of tonights episode. I'm glad she nailed the fact that what he does for Gunjan is way more than what a friend would do for a friend- essentially hinting that Samrat has other feelinsg for Gunjan. Hatsoff to Sheena for that. BUT I didn't like Samrat's response to this entire thing. I didn't want a full fledged realization either today esp courtesy of Sheena! I want them both to have their personal space and let Samrat realize on his own! BUT I also didn't expect the same SPECIAL friendship and nothing more mantra echoing in Samrat's thoughts. Like I want him to be in conflict. Maybe thats what the creatives tried to portray here but I wasn't convinced! All it seemed to me was Samrat and how his justification as to how unique his friendship is. I dont want this justification! I want him to think about it from a whole different perspective, I want him to have conflicting ideas! And the pace has to be gradual, there has to be tons of SaJan scenes where he has to look at Gunjan from that "other" way and realize that its love after all. I wanted him today to not realize at all. All I wanted was Samrat questioning himself as to what Sheena meant and NOT asserting that Sheena was wrong blah blah. I wanted him to stop saying "other" feelings; I wanted him to explicitly say the word pyaar. Don't get me wrong at this point Samrat should not seen he loves her but its should have been a mere question. I felt we were going in circles as we've always been. Nothing more than a special friend. Thats it. The thing is, because of this it is going to make Samrat look at everything with a different perspective; he is not going to appreciate Gunjan's concern. It's just a special friend's unique concern after all. He EXPECTS that! Like I won't be surprised if on Monday when we see the Gunjan in white scene, he'll just end up thanking Gunjan and being in awe of their special friendship. So how will he look at Gunjan from THAT different perspective? Had he atleast and ONLY thought about being in love with Gunjan, then I would have been way more convinced.

But then again, this is just my point of view. I'm happy that today's episode had you this excited! I guess I'm the only one who wasn't convinced. I even rewatched it- but with no avail. Oh well here's hoping Monday turns out to be great. Let's see how Samrat reacts to Gunajn in white scene...we'll see...

I just might change my view then.

Man the post is so long but I didn't how else to sound convincing :p I hope it makes sense and I do realize I many be totally wrong but I don't know I'm just such a die hard SaJanian that I expect the BEST from them. Not to mention I can be a very harsh critic sometimes par kya karoon mein SaJan/MoNaya ki deewani hoon LOL!
