Awwww........such cute scenes !! Nupur was such a complete nautanki back then.........😆. Her paanch machchar and teen makhi wala dialogue and all her nautanki filled dancing was just so adorable and so typically Nupur. I loved the fact that she was dancing ekdum aaram se, tension free, chappal-vappal utaar ke while poor Mayank was slogging away. Lol. She was so carefree, so unique and like I said before, so typically Nupur.

And Mayank.....sigh.....he was so different back then. He was a class apart from practically all other T.V. show characters. He was so "Hey bhagwaan.....kahaan se aayi yeh mahaan aatma" types while attempting to explain her her bit of the project, while she was being all churlish and defiant for no reason at all. And I loved how they got all awkward when they got close......it was just so natural.

Their scenes used to be so simple back then......no cheesy dialogues, no OTT situations, it was all about simplicity and expressions, which was what set them apart. I miss those days. Sigh.......

Lovely post Anuji, going down memory lane once again.

Aww I knowwwww....she was sooooo adorable! *sigh* You felt like scooping her up and just hugging her for being that darn adorable! LOL

I miss those days too :(( *sigh*

And yes, I also loved how natural those awkward moments were......I think that's what pulled me in.....how natural their chemistry was.....*sigh*

Anu whenever I see your reminising topics I always get nostaglic 'cause MN were the first couple whom I got so attached, whom I loved more than anything in my life but as people say good days and good things are not meant to be forever those good days of MN didn't last long either and now we are left with such classic scene of MN. Love this scene won't go in details cause you explained/summarized the scene beautifully and pretty much everthing is there...just wanted to add this I like how after that eyelock Mayank comes back to reality seeing paper in his hand, true nerd LOL. Thanks a ton for keeping me alive through these scenes.

Ahh, the awkwardness was bubbling over in this scene, it was so evident! And the naturalness of it was so good, the little camaraderie, the awkwardness, then to dispel the awkwardness, the nit-picking at each other. (More so in Nupur's case. 'Kyuunn?')

Where did this couple go? Who were so natural in their interactions, who grew to learn something from one another, besides not wanting to, just because. Where did our MayUr go?

Love,
Radz

Aww thanks, Neha! I know yaar....I miss them a lot too whenever I make these posts *sigh*.....but yeah, I guess all good things have to come to an end sooner or later.....For me, MN only live on thru those classic scenes.....cuz they don't exist in the present in this show in my opinion either.

@red: LOLL I also loved how he came out of his little 'trance' after noticing the paper in his hand...true nerd, indeed!😆😆

That's exactly it....the naturalness pulled us all in...endeared MN to us more and more each time....the camaraderie, the subconsious attraction, the awkwardness...everything was natural! Nothing ever felt forced....unlike now (More so in Nupur's case. 'Kyuunn?')

They were butchered in the name of 'happiness'😆....I guess Indian TV or the so called 'creatives' of 'youth shows' weren't ready to handle a TRULY unique pair.
