Oh I'm not debating! 😊 I was just replying.
But I know....I understand what you are saying that they overdid it. But I'm just saying that I think that's just how the show is. I mean, have you ever seen a character like Nupur before? lol 😆 All I'm saying is that people shouldn't take it TOO seriously. Otherwise, you'll miss out on all of the fun.
But I agree with you. They did go a little too far. But it's just too funny to me. but yeah, you're right.

See.. for me watching old Mayank and Nupur.. the one from beach, barn, jungle, AC meet was fun.. Watching Mappu and Numbo play throw and fetch or cardboard art is not fun for me... its torture so either they bring back the "fun" element or I have to look elsewhere for my share of entertainment..

@blue: Mayank does NOT constantly say ILU to Nupur... Infact I havent even heard him say it once except on the stage where his exact words were "Nupur ab main audience ki taraf jaa raha hu. Agar tum bhi mujhe pyaar karti ho toh please keh do" At no point does he say "Nupur main tumse bahut pyaar karta hu"

Hi nehlove,
Well first of all I'm sorry I was not clear enough. I was just using movies as an example because u know as they say movies are an exaggerated version of real life drama. I can't give a real life example because what I have seen in real life won't be the exact example any of you have seen. So, it wouldn't make sense for me And I was also using movies as my second example. I don't understand why most of us are able to accept such changes in movies but not in MJHT.
Also, yes you are right Mayank doesn't say I love you all the time but he has said those words clearly more than once to Nupur. I am sorry I can't recollect when he exactly told her those words but I am definite he has. I am in no way saying she has not expressed her love. She has expressed it through gestures like Mayank himself said today. Personally, I have not been in love but I am sure when someone is in love they want to hear those 3 words said from the person they love.... I am sure its just a superb feeling and anyone in love would want to hear them. So, I think it is justified that Mayank does so.
I see you have a very different POV then mine. I don't mean to say you are wrong at all. I am just trying to justify my POV. :)

You cannot recollect because he hasnt... I am pretty sure of that.. He has "expressed" his love just like she has but not explicitly said it..
And yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion.. I respect yours and am just stating my views..

FINALLY. Someone who understands. I completely agree with you. I mean they are in COLLEGE! Why would they become completely serious in love and not tease each other like this. For Nupur, the locket was important...(I don't know why lol) and for other girls, calling them back on time, taking them out somewhere, having them listen to you is important. It depends on the character.

Mayank did NOT get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness because that is not him. Instead, he got the locket out of the pool, scared Nupur (making her think he may be drowning), and put that locket in her hand to make her realize she was being dumb for not forgiving him. It IS his character to do this. and the cheezy dialogues, I mean come on, he is scarcastic. He has humor in him. I'm pretty sure he was saying those dialogues because it was funny to him and he knows Nupur is filmy. Instead of using the old corny dialogues, he makes Nupur happy by saying dumb dialogues in his own way.
Nupur is right to be hesitant when saying those three words. She is outspoken and filmy...and if I'm not mistaken, almost all of the heroines have a hard time saying those three words in movies. She is also from a small town whose ppl don't take those three words as a joke. and let's face it, ANYONE would be shy to say those words to MAYANK! It's very normal ESPECIALLY for Nupur.
So before you start becoming disappointed with the characters, make sure to remember that this is a comedy and a light hearted show. Do not confuse it with the serious saas-bahu serials where everything goes according to some kind of plan. Randomness is what makes this show entertaining.

wow, great points! I totally agree with you.... it is after all a fictious story and it should be treated that way..... n it is really not meant to be all planned with all the evil plans n stuff that is what makes it soooo unique..... thanks for sharing your input and agreeing with my POV :)

Sure I agree that he doesn't say it constantly but he is more open than Nupur about his feelings as it should be because he is a GUY.
and we have to talk about real life and the movies as both lives are REALLY important to Nupur. lol 😆
I think Singh008 is just trying to say that both in real life and in the movies, ppl change. Ppl change all the time whether they are in love or not. and when they are in love, well ANYTHING can happen! 😃

thanks for understanding my POV I appreciate it..... n yes i believe love can change a person quite a bit..... n yes Nupur is soooo filmy wouldn't really matter if we are talking about real life or movies haha

Yup.. sorry.. I didn't watch that debacle of a date but he did say it at her house so yup i give you that one.. The other times he is explaining love not saying it.. But yeah he said it like once or twice... Actions speak louder than words and Nupur has "shown" it in some ways which is as good as saying ILU... I am glad he stopped pestering her starting today..
