Bingo Kavya! As much as I like Ashi and Yuvi, I still watch the show for Sonia and her over protectiveness, Sumeet and his quirks, Ranveer and his strength, Aman the dutiful son, Vrinda the lost soul, Varun the silent sufferer, Tia and her frivolousness, Sonal Masi, Raghav Dutt, even Mrs. Jambval's internal conflict ... etc Don't know about Season 2, but Season 1 is certainly rocking!

Hmmm....season one loved everyone from the show...with only a little particular preference for AY. That's because in season one, the storyline itself was so well plotted...it wove an intricate web around all the characters...going from one scene to another...one character's story to another...and unifying it all into a single coherent storyline....
Each character was important....every story full of intrigue and interesting...every character had a life of his/her own without depending solely upon the main leads...it truly felt like a high school with the storyline taking small-small peeps into varied lives and then keeping us hanging onto the cliff-hanger while it moved to another story.....keeping us wanting more and more...

Also what this type of treatment did was give each character a backstory and rescue that character from being just a one-sided caricature...the people in the show es the side characters were not left at the mercy of the "preach-happy" lead characters (as is the case in most other shows) but these side characters themselves could run a whole episode without the need of showing even a single main lead....
I really loved remix in season one as it entertained me more than anything else....I would watch all three repeats as I was lazying around during my 10th std vacations....

As far as MJHT is concerned, well, it does flit from scene to scene in certain episodes but even though they may show a SaJan/MayUr scene and then show a Benji-Uday scene...even then the only thing the poor side leads ever do in the show is tomfoolery and they have never really een developed as actual characters but they remain in the background forever as "side-kicks" being there to degrade themselves whenever either of the main leads wants to show his/her proficiency in being "the best".

Also, I've always felt that there are far too many "perfect" characters on tv...characters who can do it all....and am glad tat in season one atleast remix never portrayed such characters!

Priya I'm really happy you came over here and that you actually replied. Well, I would just like to add to all what others have said that: You shouldn't really be so overwhelmed at the kind of response you and your "ashi" have generated within people since the character and the show was one of a kind...and even you are one of a kind.
I'm just sad that remix couldn't continue on and finish its full plotline and that Star One axed it all of a sudden....but still apart from that, remix gave us all many things and one of the best things that I got from it was the friends I got on this forum because of remix and that will always be one of the most cherished memories of my life.

I was hoping to see you on tv esp in a youth based show but after reading your sentiments on the indian tv scene....I am not that hopeful now..still it would have been so good to see you again on my tv screen! But best of luck with your theater!

PS: My friend watches grey's anatomy but the episodes are not shown linearly...so its impossible to follow the storyline correctly!

Well this seems to be mini re-union of the Remix forum 😳...feels soooo gr8 to read this post n seeing all my long lost friends posting over here so enthusiastically abt Remix like we used to while the show was on air 😃

I really wanna thank the topic starter for this......owe u one for this 😳....n I am sooooo happy to see sooo many ppl praising n thanking the red head girl😳.....n quoting exactly wat I feel abt her.....she is way too special a character 😳 n her biggest achievement is that she has managed to inspire so many ppl👏.......so much so that even after 3 years ppl still owe her for that small/ huge positive change she has bought abt in them n she still manages to have a place in their heart 😃

And I also have a lot of respect for Priya.....there r not many ppl who acknowledge the love that fans shower upon them......but Priya has always made it a point to reciprocate her love upon us in watever way she can 😳.......n u can't help but continue to love her even more after all that she does for us 😃....Thank u soooooo much Priya for making us feel special🤗.......u never let us down n we will always be proud to be ur fans 😳😃
