Mayur Scoops-An interesting observation!

Hi friends,

Ever since, I joined IF & have been reading the Scoops from PD, I have noticed a unique & interesting trend in the pattern of the MJHT scoops! The ratio of Mayur scoops versus Sajan is so consistent! That is, there is generally 4 or 5 Sajan scoops versus 1 Mayur Scoop…& the pattern continues, even with the supposed focus on the current Mayur Love Story (One love story at a time or something to that effect, I read somewhere..) I don't want the Sajan scoops to reduce in number, they are very special too, & their number of scoops should remain the way they are, but being a Hardcore Mayurian, it hurts to see such glaring differences in the Scoops as well as the show!

I see a sensible, meaningful & beautiful build up to the Sajan Track in the scoops as well as the show..Great job there by the writers of the show! Kudos!

But what about the Mayur Track, whose love story, apparently the show is supposed to be focusing on, currently?

What's their story line, the future of their track, if any! We want a story too, with moments & not just moments without a story! They don't even get a balanced screen space..if they were shown for the entire episode on Wednesday, it was made sure that they hardly have anything to do on Thursday & Friday…I understand that it is not possible to give everyone a fair share of screen space in every episode, fair enough…but I don't see such compromises being made for the other couple, inspite of their love track not being the highlight of the show currently, as claimed by the Creatives! In which case, once their love story develops, is it pack up time for Mayank, Nupur & Mayurians?

Guys, please share your views & let me know if you feel that my observation is correct & if I should post it on FS…No offence meant to anybody…Sajan is wonderful & deserve a great track…...not contesting that at all…but what's happening in the show is gross injustice to the two wonderful characters of Mayank & Nupur created by the writers of the show themselves & to two of the most Outstanding actors of TV- Rati & Arjun..& that is something which is unpalatable for me & the grossly disproportionate Scoops is a sad reflection of this even sadder bias (?) & unfairness of it all!

I have always said that Mayur-Sajan screen time is perfectly equal, and no bias is being shown. Its highly impossible to give more screen space when the main couple are two. The time that has been allotted for Sajan and Mayur are perfectly proportionate, and you have to also understand that other characters like RV, Dia, Tamanna, Uday etc need to be shown. Inspite of this, I think the creatives are doing a wonderful job in balancing the timing, and I don't have any complaints regarding either the Scoops or the screen space.

Rupa i agree with you 100%, i agree that the SaJan story has a very meaningful building up to the reliasation and confession of both.. but these days// we're seeing MN scenes with hardly and dialogue.. just staring.. in real life.. this does not happen at all..

Di although this thing has been highlighted an umpteen times by many members like-Kavya and all,but it has not yielded any positive result.....di i would like to post my views on ur topic but before that i would like to make it clear ki i m really loving the current romantic track of Mayur😳.....so i m not against it currently😊.....

# Di u r rite that PD gives more Sajan scoops than Mayur scoops....i too agree that Sajan scoops are necessary but as the play track is basically meant for Mayur(said by PD herself),so why soo less Mayur scoops....what i m going to say now,i request every one to plz don't get offended.....actually today when all of us were asking for some Mayur scoops from PD (after she had given some Sajan scoops but just 1 Mayur scoop)..then PD replied "ab main Mayur ke bare mein kya kahon....pyar toh hona hi tha"......to this Mashaal replied very aptly that this scoops means that it is the end of Mayur story as they are already in love..so as story is on end so possibly no scoops are left for them.....so i ask ki if this current track(Play Track)is meant for Mayur then why this attitude towards Mayur?....this track is meant to take their story forward,not to end it!!......but i really feel that this track is the last interesting track of Mayur coz Pd said that they are going to take up 1 love story at a time....so as Mayur's is almost at it's end coz within a few days we will see both confessing their feelings for each other...so after that practically nothing will be left to see in their story...and then off-course Sajan's story will start....and as we all know that when some Sajan-centric track is going on then Mayur only have guest-appearence in the show.....so yes definitely this is the peak but sadly the last track of Mayur story(not that i m wishing so.....but this is what is seemingly gonna happen😕....i wish i m proved wrong by the creatives!!)😊

#Secondly,I want to say one thing here,which i could not say in other similas topics, that i really don't feel ki Mayur's initial character has changed😊.....many say that the characters have been trampled...but personally i feel ki they are not😊.....after all if we see it practically...in real life too people's character changes with time or age!!😳....don't u guys think ki the way u behave now is quite different from what u behaved when u were small or were not as mature?!!😉......similarly if ever u have fallen in some kind of relationship....i m not saying only love,but any relationship,..doesn't ur behaviour changes towards that person with whom u r in a relationship?!!😳.....same is with the case with Mayank and Nupur😊.....if at all it is looking odd, then it is b'coz earlier they were quite opposite to what they are now....but now they are in love😳.....a girl always becomes shy when she is in love😳.....atleast i have never seen any girl who becomes or remains as chulbuli as she was before she loved that particular guy!!😳.....similarly boys too become a little naughty when they are in a relationship!!😳😆....even if they are as studious as Einstein,they have those hormones(u know na what?!😉) as they are human beings...so when in love,their nature changes towards that girl!!😳....it's very obvious😊......so i never found Mayank and Nupur out of character!!😊....

#third and a very important thing is that it's just a TV show!!😉......so some of the dialogues which i feel are not appropriate,i take them with a pinch of salt and enjoy the show😃.....the show is for our entertainment ,not to make us tense and worry about how the characters are progressing!!😉😆.....let us do our job/work and watch this 1/2 hour show just to unwind us😊.....how the characters must progress and all,should be creatives head-ache😉.....after all it's their job😉.....so we should definitely use this forum as a medium to bring our grievances(if at all) to the notice of creatives, but after that we should just leave it on them and enjoy what they are giving us😉😳......pestering them time and again would not yield any fruit-full result coz they will after-all do what they feel like😊......

Having said all this,i want to make it clear ki these are solely my views😊....i request every one to plz not be offended😊......by writing all this i have not tried to become preachy coz i know every one here is intelligent and no one is needed to preach anyone anything😉......so what i have done is just expressed my views!!😊....that's it!!😉

Rupa di i will recommend u to post it in FS as u write ur thoughts very well so i feel Pd will surely notice it😊......but again di i want to tell u that this fact has been pointed out to PD by many members but has yielded very little result!!.....so it's ur choice!!😳

@ krishmjht - very eloquently said, albeit I disagree of course. Let's just call it a perspective difference - M/N story has no depth to begin with. It has no gradual build up of feelings. Isn't love all about feelings? A love story that is based on scintillating scenes and overflowing hormones cannot be "love" it can be infatuation, attraction or even lust. Can you remember the exact moment Mayank "fell" in love with Nupur? When he saw her in wet hair in his clothes. Is this love? If you think it is, then my entire argument is moot. :-) I'm glad at least some MN fans are "enjoying" their current stop & stare, fall & trip, fumble & bumble, overconfident & meek routine ...

All good things have to come to an end- our MN have reached their end although a bit soon but they have, its best to move on now.......

Actually I am kind of happy to see very less of MN on the screen nowadays (thanks to Mayank's character Massacre) though I STILL enjoy watching Nupur (thanks to Rati of course, its a pity that such a wonderful talent in being wasted in a sub standard show) but that is only when she is FAR FAR AWAY from Mayank, she turns into those Axe Ad girls around Mayank and it pains me to watch Morena Express behave like that in front of a guy who has absolutely NO REGARD for HER FEELINGS. Anyways, I think the screen space is kind of balanced and better than before. And about the scoops, like one of my friends Manali said, PD can give us scoops if MN have a story like SG but when MN don't have a story how can she give us scoops? 😆 😆 😆

Another noteworthy point here is PD's remark about Mayank n Nupur's being a 'HAPPY' love story(?) and happy love stories(?) don't deserve much attention wrt track n strong script from the creatives you see 😳 😳 😳
