Thanks nureat01 to have explained what it meant. Well if this is what it meant, then it is pathetic.

But I think they are wantedly doing this. Mebbe so that when Nupur comes to know this attitude of Mayank, she gets hurt that she loved him. Probably then they might show that Mayank will start realising what mistake he did and then they might take it into an emotional drama where Mayank will develop more feelings for Nupur.

Quite a lot of people in this forum felt Mayur need a strong bond and it shouldn't be based on Mayank's attraction towards Nupur. It can be achieved if the storyline went like this and then as if Mayank falls in love with Nupur truly with no aims and things like that and then he confessing breaking his ego just like Varun did.

You know what I think - I think he had an evil plan for offering his shirt to Nupur in first place. Maybe it'll be revealed later that this was all a part of "Project Nupur" . Maybe it'll be revealed later that Mayank is suffering from something and so he wants to portray his worst behaviour to Nupur so that Nupur will ultimately hate him.

That's an interesting possibility you've mentioned....I do already expect that Nupur will be very upset with him once finds out how he co-erced her into revealing her feelings....so she'll probably cut off from him then.

But to use THIS tactic to develop an 'emotional bond' b/w MN??😕😕......Why????? Why can't they bond NORMALLY over regular things??? WHEN was Mayank THIS shallow??? Just cuz he became attracted to her and fell for her, that gives him a license to do all this??? No, I can't stomach it.....no matter what ridiculous convulted reasoning they may have for giving 'depth' to MN thru this.....some things are irrerversible....you can't MASSACRE a character to this extent and then expect the audience to connect with him.
