I tend to be a little Mayankish and proceed chronologically but I just love this song, so began with Dekho na on Sajan.
Jia, I am impressed. I did not know you were so talented! Brains as well as beauty, you must make all the boys swoon, sway and swallow their pride as they fall before your brilliance!
That opening with the rain scene of Sajan, editing perfectly that thunder of the song, that lull before the storm! Jia you had me ready to place the laurel upon your head right there, but then the very next step you show me I only limit you by setting such a 'high' standard, that in fact your horizons are not on this plane but set in the sky! It was just genius to bring in that sound of wind from the song to that scene of Samrat gently blowing across Gunjan's face. Jia just magnificent.! 👏
I loved the how you highlighted the 'strings' of the piano upon which SaJan played, their fingers so close, that slow embrace of Samrat, as slow as the opening to the song, playing with the strings of my heart whilst SaJan played on each others. Just beautiful! ⭐️ Those first flutterings of love, like the stringed notes, the hum and base of the song. Beautiful symmetry!⭐️
Excellent timing for 'yeh saajish hain boondon ki' with beautiful Gunjan, her innocent smile contrasting with Samrat's smile within which is hidden 'koi khwaahish hain'⭐️

Then those 'dekho na' where you illuminated why this song is so perfect for SaJan. Samrat always seeking her eyes, whilst Gunjan looks away, that telling smile saying that his answer is not to be ONLY found in her eyes, but everything about her, everything that surrounds her.⭐️
That glittering stringed part for when their eyes finally meet! ⭐️ Excellent timing for Samrat's pull at 'kyon duuri hain ab darmayaan"
I loved that pull again for 'phir na hawayen hogi itani besharam' holding me tight, then that knowing yet haunting look at 2:07, just made my heart sigh with sweet relief. ⭐️😳

I loved that editing of Samrat stopping Gunjan from talking, timed with "samjho na samjho na" that in truth she really is the only one who understands him, there is nothing else to say!. Brilliant.⭐️
I loved the part from 3:12, that interlude in the song, that sighing with those excellently chosen scenes, that pull of the duppatta, that banishing of distances between them, Gunjan speaking openly and much to Samrat, then that superb timing of Samrat's smile with the melody of the strings, just wonderful! @ 3:23, the way her antics and mannerisms opened his heart. Those scenes are just SaJan for me, their combined smiles, laughing at each other, with each other.⭐️
Then again, that excellent editing and selection of scene for 'jugnu jaise chahat dekho jale mujhe' timed to perfection for her jolt back to reality for 'meethi si mushkil hain koi kya kare' Brilliant! 👏⭐️
Then my favourite part of your vm, 'chhuu lo na' at 4:26, that caress of Samrat synchronizing with that caress of the strings, in the song, made me blush! Just beautiful! ⭐️😳
I loved how you circled back to the beginning scenes for the vm, bringing all to one, for SaJan's journey is like a golden chain, each link or part is as important as the last or the next, for together they make up the whole. Again I loved the timing of the strings at na duuri hain ab darmayaan' which you intricately timed, that elongation of darmiyaaaaan, by Sonu, that pulling in of Samrat. Absolutely wonderful!. I loved it! 😳
Then all those eyelocks for the last dekho na repeating, Gunjan looking away only for that hum in the song, echoing the movement of her humming heart, but finally returning to his eyes for the last dekho na.
Jia, very well done. I am just impressed. I intend to return soon to this little treasure box of tremendous beauty. Thank you for sharing
