One more thing, after rereading this, I don't think I did justice to Mayank and Nupur's characters so someonen else please feel free to add. I need to watch their scenes with the same enthusiasm now. I'm really starting to like where their story is going too. 😃
This is what I wrote about Gunjan the other day and Caro said she'd like me to write about the other three characters too so here it goes.. (p.s. I just realized this is my FIRST ever post in this forum😲😆😆).
Gunjan (I can totally relate to and understand her so this one is probably the best I got):
I think Sajan's story does show true love also. She was this shy girl who never talks to anyone, let alone talking to boys. Then this guy comes around whom she eventually becomes good friends with, who cares for her like no other guy ever did. He tells her that she's his first true girl best friend. She starts to fall in love with him as she sees the "other" side of him, the one he tries to hide from many people because he has a certain image he needs to live up to. She realizes that she knows him best and loves him for who he is on the inside. She doesn't force him to change the image that he has in front of his friends, she understands why he does the things he does, she showed him why he does the things he does and then just let it be. She is the one who knew about his parents without him talking much about them. I think true love is when you can understand how the other one is feeling without them having to say it. Understanding their pain, happiness, what they want from life and what they want to be. She experiences the beauty of love which was shown through her song.. beautiful song, by the way, I listen to it all the time. But then she finds out that he doesn't feel the same way.. he doesn't think of her the way she thinks of him so she breaks down.. but eventually she knows she has to get up and be grateful that she met him and had a chance to experience love. Instead of wasting time crying, she wants to be happy. She is trying, choosing to be happy. He changed her for the better and she realizes that too..

Eh, well. I can't relate to this dude first of all. 😆😆 But he is definitely interesting and I really wish we knew more about his background. Anyways, from what we've seen, he has always been this cool dude of the college whom the girls love. There was never a girl who didn't like him and he never thought he'd meet one. But he did have a "dream girl," we all want someone special in life and he had an idea too, but never expected that he would want someone like Chashmish. At first, he was just doing whatever Dia told him to, making fun of her and her sister, but while doing that, he felt a connection. Especially at the party thrown for them, when Gunjan almost drowned, even he wasn't so sure about why he reacted that strongly, but he shrugged it off and kept making fun of her. And then she found out that he was mocking her, but he didn't think she would care, she should be "flattered" that he bothered with her. Instead, she decides to ignore him and he can't understand that. How can this girl simply IGNORE someone like HIM? His curiosity brought him closer to her and slowly, but surely he opened up to her. He realized she understood him, he doesn't have to be someone he's not in front of her. She likes him for who he really is, no girl ever even knew that side of him before. He wants to help her, be with her, but he doesn't know why. He wants to see her smile, but simply cannot figure out why. On rose day, he gave her a surprise and told her how much she meant to him -- a true friend she was to him. And then he asked for a hug, he actually requested it and it made him so happy.. While walking away he said, "you know sometimes we're so happy and we have no idea why." He doesn't think he can fall in love with Gunjan, he is falling for her, but hasn't realized it yet. He ignores Dia all the time for Gunjan, he wants to spend time with her, drink coffee with her, pick her up from home and take her to school. He can't see her in pain, he knows something is wrong right now, but he can't put it together so he's thinking maybe she's just really happy about the surprise he gave her. Recently, Dia told him he's spending all his time with "behenji" and that's why the girls don't like him anymore. It affected him a little bit.. at the moment, but then when he saw her, he went to sit with her again. He's starting not to even care about what other people think about him and I think the reason he would go after Sheena is because of RanVijay. Let's see how the story unfolds..

A wonderful sister, someone who wants to experience the beauty of love and spend the rest of her life with her prince charming. She never really seems to have had a good boy friend. By boy friend, I mean a friend who was a boy. Most guys in Morena were lattoo over her, but she didn't care for any of them really. She's a lot like Samrat in the sense that she is not very in touch with her feelings. In Mumbai, she met Mayank, who in their first meeting saved her from the bathroom. You would have thought they would start out on a nice note, but no. They started arguing and whatnot, but eventually did become good friends. She likes being around Mayank, but won't admit it. She loves his mom because she reminds her of her mom, that she never got to spend much time with. When they did become good friends, Nupur told Mayank of her worries about Gunjan and he made her feel better. She understands that he's a good friend and not someone she wants to lose in her life no matter how much fun she pokes at him. In Ahemdabad, she really had gotten scared and almost cried, but didn't let him see it. She wants him to think that she's a strong girl and can compete with him. Maybe because he doesn't talk much about his feelings either? Rose day.. for someone who claims to be a total romantic and only give red roses to the one she loves.. she gave red roses to someone she considers her good friend. Maybe because she knew he wouldn't accept them or maybe she was making excuses because she has feelings for him and wanted to celebrate the beautiful day as well. Today, she wanted to sit next to Mayank and no one else. She bullied a poor little guy to move from her seat. She could have sat behind them. I think she is falling for him, but just like Sammy, she hasn't realized it yet..
Aha! Mr. Mayank Sharma.
First of all.. he is hot.. and his smile could make millions of girls faint 😳😳 Moving on before I start ranting on how good looking Arjun is.. Mayank, the padakoo dude. The only guy who can give the cool dude Samrat competition. He was satisfied with his life, until a girl named Nupur enters. They become good friends, but then he finds out she lied to him about the project. Normally, he would have listened to what anyone had to say, but he didn't give Nupur any chance to say anything at all. He broke all ties with her -- maybe it was unconscious decision on his part. They were becoming good friends and he had never really had a good friend like her before. She's funny, beautiful, smart, the list goes on. He still attends the talent parade and dances with her - why? Because he misses her and how could he let her go through that by herself? After the talent parade, they separated one more time.. until the ahemdabad trip which is where he fell in love with her. He was jealous of Chinnu ji because he was making her laugh, something Mayank had never really done. He saved her from the goons, he couldn't see her in pain, crying, then he was worried about how she was, took her to the hospital. He begins to really care for her more than he ever did, but when he realized that he had fallen in love with her, he was totally shocked. He never expected to fall in love with anyone.. his sole concentration had always been his studies, but now a girl was distracting him. He can't think of anyone, but her, and he doesn't like that at all. So he tries to avoid her, but she won't let him so he's trying to just continue the way things are, hide his feelings from everyone he can. It's not that falling in love will make him a loser, I think he might just be afraid that he isn't Nupur's dream boy.. he's not so sure of himself so he's trying to keep her away from him.
All in all, I think these four show the different approaches we take to love. The two padakoos took a completely different route, one embraced the love, one went in denial for a while. As for the "cool" peeople, those two are simply clueless.. they aren't very in touch with their own feelings, but they do know how the people they love feel. Sammy always (mostly) knows when Gunjan's upset and what she needs. Nupur. Hm, Nupur doesn't always know how Mayank feels, but that's because he makes an effort to hide it from her.
Holy cow. I wrote a lot.. 😲 I don't recommend anyone to go through the torture and actually read this..
