well like I said, this other relationship part or something of that sort..........
for example someone else may like Nupur, but this will cause Mayank to realise that he loves Nupur or vice-versa. I dont want jealousy or anything. I just want something to provoke those romantic feelings to come out. But before that they should be just friends, without getting those romantic feelings in between................
also, in colleges you may fall in love with someone, but its not necessary that you have to go out with that person or get into a relationship. Just like that, one of them may develop a crush for someone else before realising they love each other. I want Mayur to be treating each other like friends.................and friends dont get jealous about his friend liking someone else. But then the crush may simply go out of window and later love can take place between Mayur without jealousy coming in between.
Frankly, I dont like the idea of jealousy as its been used so many times............I just one something simple and relatable yet leaving a dynamic impact.
Do you really expect two young college goers to have so much maturity to realize the difference between a crush and true love? Obviously, it will not be like one fine day Mayank wakes up and realizes that he is in love with Nupur; the "pure friendship first" track you are expecting is sort of difficult because there have been so many eye lock sessions and close scenes in which he did not exactly look at her like she is his "friend". But that does not mean he is in love with Nupur already, as far as he concerned she is still a friend but she is different from his other friends for example, say CJ! CJ is also Mayank's good friend who knows him so well and the rapport they share is excellent. But you cannot expect Mayank and Nupur to share the same kind of friendship. And sooner or later Mayank is going to realize that Nupur is special for him and that he has a soft corner for her,that he does not feel for her in the same way as he does for CJ because Nupz suddenly caught his attention unlike CJ with whom his relationship grew over time . It is this realization process that I want to see where in he understands why exactly he has a soft corner for her. It should then click him that "they have always survived every emotional changes for each other and have stuck with each other" like you put it and that she made him aware of traits within himself which he did not know he possessed like say dancing.This girl has affected him in a way nobody has ever done before and he sensed a change in him the moment he met her. The friendship between MayUr includes obsession(with underlying attraction unknown to them) with each other so it is really difficult to portray it as only friendship!
