In case you have been wondering where Ajay Gehi has disappeared from Miilee, we have the answer for you. The man is out of the show, at least for the time being. Although Radhika Kumar (Raman Kumar's daughter) does not rule out the possibility of Gehi making a comeback on the show, the fact remains that he is definitely out of the scheme of things for the time being. Radhika Kumar says, "See, he has not been on the show for the last month or so. He was busy with Celebrity Fame Gurukul and we had to change the story. Now he does not feature as he is not in the track. We will not see him in coming episodes as the entire focus has shifted to other people. As a matter of fact, I don't see him returning back in the near future." Radhika denies having any problems with him saying, "We had a tiny little argument. These things normally happen between a producer and an actor. Apart from that, we have never had any problems. We had foreseen date problems and that's why we planned the show accordingly. He may be available now but we don't need him at the moment." Speaking in his defense, Ajay Gehi says, "To be very frank, I have no clue what's happening. I have not shot for Miilee for nearly two months now. Neither has the channel nor the producers called me. I tried to speak to Radhika but she had no answers. I wish there was clarity about what's happening. Fame Gurukul has ended I haven't been contacted by the Miilee producers. I don't know who is playing dirty. I don't know whether I will come back at all. I was surprised that my character Rahul Rastogi was not even a part of the highpoint of the show. I have started questioning the importance of the character." He further adds, "After Maqbool, the basic idea of doing Miilee was to give 15 days to television and keep the remaining days for films. But when you don't even shoot for a single day, you are forced to look for other options as well. I am meeting people now and will decide something when I get an interesting offer. I am waiting to meet Ramanji and only then will I be able to take a stand. I have no hard feelings. The fact that there was never a dispute puzzles me. Hopefully, things will be clearer now." Radhika has also had problems earlier with Neeru Bajwa which resulted in the latter's ouster from the show. She was replaced by Shonali Malhotra Sonii. Later, even Aasif Sheikh was unhappy with the show. Radhika informs, "Neeru had her own issues and there were date problems and so we replaced her. As far as Aasif Sheikh goes, the issues were resolved there and then itself. He is very much a part of the show." | ||
