Highly Disappointed with the Show Now

Agree so much.. The charm which the show had in the beginning is long gone now... The characters were real the conflicts were real but now everything seems to be so messed up... Maybe they decided to go the normal way to gain trps but nothing worked... The fights b/w the sisters does not make sense at all... As if the whole kaaynaat wants them to fight and there is no character development at all... I mean ketki is shown as extremely weak and stupid.. I thought maybe after sohrabh fiasco she will grow stronger but now she is plain disturbing... Such a character assassination! Ketki's character had so many layers but now there is only one, STUPID! And kalyani has been turned into another mahaan herione and now that perfect guy Mr. Karan has also entered who seems to have been designed for MAhaanta n all that, but actually he is just another boring daily soap hero!
This show is boring and predictable now but still iam watching it as iam hooked to it... There is zero character development, zero logic etc. etc. Ketki is only a good singer when she is drunk lol...
the show had grey characters before the leap... Vikrant was more realistic than karan but they ended his story in a hurry... Its like the creatives were replaced all of a sudden!
I expected this show some genuine reasons for rivalry, like competition to become a better singer but alas :(
But anyways the show is ending now, sadly it had so much potential and now... And seems like the older actresses deepti and zarina will appear in the last episode.. I thought that maybe they will have the story arc of their own 😆

Absolutely , another thing is , it is proven the show is created by people involved with Ekta .I mean Nivedita Basu was her creative for a longest time.I am also watching the show only because few episodes are left

Can't agree more!! The realistic feel of the show was lost with the introduction of the distant relatives I had high expectations to see the conflicts between Kalyani and Ketki but what was shown was nothing different from a regular daily soap...

Yes u are right... But anyways the show is ending next week... And the older actresses are finally here for a week ..atleast the story will have some freshness now even for a last few episodes.. Iam curious as to how they will handle the ending episodes.. I want the episodes to be as good as they were in the beginning 😊

Totally agree with all of you. This is the way how a good story gets ruined after some episodes. I was a diehard fan of this show in the beginning for it was so natural and realistic acting. They have wasted great acting talents in pallavi joshi n amrita rao. Like most of you opined the most ruined character now is of ketki's. It's really annoying to watch ketki now. Protima is even more irritating. I feel actors should refrain from acting such irritating n annoying characters. Also I was expecting some gold old melodies of lataji n ashaji in the story since the story is set in that time. But instead I get to listen "kharab hai" song most of the time.

good post and yes its nivedita basu show , the lady has ekta creativity in her head so expecting something different from her is no chance. the show will fine in intial stage later it was ruined
