Chapter 10

Ishani reached office in auto-rickshaw . She got off the rickshaw and started heading towards the office's entrance. She stepped inside the office with no smile and expression on her face. She entered Ranveer's cabin so that she can go to her cabin. When she entered the cabin, she saw Ranveer reading some files. Ranveer saw Ishani coming along with Hasti who was playing with her teddy bear. As soon as Hasti saw Ranveer, she dropped her bear on the floor and started to clap her hands in joy and with a smile on her face. Ranveer saw Hasti with huge smile. Hasti opened her arms and forwarded towards Ranveer, signing Ishani that she wants to go with him. Ishani didn't notice that, she was completely lost somewhere. Ranveer got up from his seat and went to Hasti and Ishani.

Ranveer - Can I take her?

Ranveer got no response from Ishani. Ranveer got tensed seeing Ishani's face which was expressionless.

Ranveer - Ishani...Ishani!

Ranveer got no response from Ishani. This time he said with little louder voice.

Ranveer - Ishani!

This now let Ishani come to the world from her thoughts.

Ranveer - Are you fine?

Ishani shooked her head as yes'. She didn't say any word and started to walk to her cabin's door. Ranveer got tensed seeing Ishani's behavior and saw Hasti who was looking at him with a sad and innocent face.

Ranveer(to himself) - What's wrong with Ishani?! Yesterday, she was fine. Did Chirag did something? I will now have to do something!

As the day turned into evening's 7:28, everyone in the office started to wind-up their stuff and leave the office and so did Ishani and Ranveer. Ishani came out with Hasti and her bag. Without looking at Ranveer, Ishani left his cabin and saw nobody at their work-station. She came out of the office and saw Chirag's car standing outside the office. She took a deep breathe and started to walk to the car slowly.

Ranveer kept his last file on the shelf and switched off his cabin's lights and started walking to the parking lot.

It was complete silence, where Chirag cleared the silence.

Chirag - Ishani we are going to Sameera's house to drop Hasti because she can't come with you there.

Hearing this, Ishani held Hasti tightly who was sleeping calmly and gave no response to Chirag.

After few minutes,

Chirag's car was standing outside Sameer's house.

Chirag(removing his seat belt) - Ishani, give Hasti to me. I will go in and hand her to Sameera.

Ishani was still in another world.

Chirag(in thoughts) - Oh this melodrama!

In another second, Chirag took Hasti from Ishani. When Ishani realised this, she saw Chirag with a questioning look.

Ishani - Where are you taking her?

Chirag - Ishani, you can't take her to hotel. I am giving her to Sameera because she is your best friend and she will take good care of Hasti.

Ishani - But-

Chirag - Ishani, tell me one thing, do you want Hasti to be in the same room where you and Mr.Chauhan...

Ishani knew what he was about to say but before he could she turned to the left and was staring at the glass window. Chirag had an evil smile and started walking to Sameera's door. He knocked the door after he reached to her door. After waiting for few second Sameera opened the door.

Sameera - Tum? Yahan? (after seeing Hasti sleeping on Chirag's shoulder) - Yeh, this baby?

Chirag - This is mine and Ishani's daughter.

Sameera(shocked hearing the answer) - Yours and Ishani's daughter? How?

Chirag - Haan, she is our daughter.

Sameera - When did Ishani get pregnant?

Chirag - Woh, she got pregnant before she had to go to USA. But after we came back from US, we came with our daughter. Ishani delivered the baby when we were in USA.

Sameera(confusedly) - Ok...but where is Ishani?

Chirag - She is at my house. Actually, I came here for something.

Sameera - Ok, please come in.

Chirag smiled and came in.

Sameera(pointing towards the couch) - Please..

Chirag smiled and took a sit.

Sameera - Water...Juice?

Chirag - Umm, nothing. But can you do me a favor?

Sameera(with questioning look) - Favor? What favor?

Chirag - Actually, me and Ishani want to spend some time alone and nobody's there to take care of Hasti. So I came here to give Hasti to you because you are Ishani's bestfriend and she trusts you. Please, can you do this for us?

Sameera(with a slight smile) - Hmm...sure.

Chirag(getting up from the sofa)- Ok...Thankyou Sameera! So sweet of you!

Sameera gave a smile and forwarded her hands to take Hasti from Chirag. Chirag with a smile gave Hasti to Sameera.

Chirag - I will come to take her after few hours.

Sameera - Ok, don't worry, I will take good care of her.

Chirag(with a smile) - Ok. I am leaving now. Bye!

Sameera - Ok...Bye!

Chirag gave a fake smile to Sameera and started walking towards the door. Sameera went after him and after he started to walk towards his car, she locked her door.

Sameera(sighed) - Oh my god, for spending some time, he left a child here. And Ishani, I have to talk to her. She called me yesterday night but didn't tell about Hasti snd she was about to marry that idiot and before marriage, she got pregnant. That idiot is cheating on my bestfriend. I wish I could do anything for her and Hasti.

Sameera(seeing Hasti and smiling) - How cute and beautiful you are! Just like your mother. Now c'mon Masi will make you sleep in her room.

Saying this, Sameera started to walk towards her room to make Hasti sleep.

In the car

Chirag(smiling and in thoughts) - Chalo, Hasti's problem solved! And now movie time! Ishani's respect will be lost by today's night and not only today but everyday. She will be called sl*t! Haha! Bichara Ranveer and his Ishani!

After few minutes of driving, they were standing infront of the 5 star hotel. A tear fell from Ishani's eye. Chirag saw her crying with an expressionless face and he had an evil smile.

Chirag - Ishani, let's go.

Chirag held Ishani's waist with his left hand and started walking in. The hotel security opened the fancy glass door for them.

Security(with a smile) - Hello Mam! Hello Sir! Please Welcome.

Chirag gave a smile to the hotel security and entered the big hotel. After walking few steps...

Chirag - Ishani, you just wait here, I will go get the keys for the room.

Ishani looked at him but remained quite. Chirag started walking towards the reception.

Receptionist - Good evening Sir! May I please help you?

Chirag - Yeah, Mr.Chauhan have booked a room. I need the key for the room.

Receptionist - You must be Chirag Mehta?

Chirag(with smile) - Yeah, Chirag Mehta.

Receptionist(giving the card) - Sir room 204, on the 4th floor.

Chirag(taking the card) - Ok, Thankyou!

Receptionist(with a formal smile) - My pleasure sir!

Chirag gave a smile to him and started walking towards Ishani who was still lost somewhere.

Chirag(smiling evilly) - Ishani, tumhe aise dekhkar bohot maza aa raha hai. Today will be fun. This day will haunt you and Ranveer throughout your lives and this day will give me lots of money.

Chirag stopped in front of Ishani.

Chirag - Ishani, challe?

Ishani, without facing him, started walking towards the elevator.

Chirag(giving a smirk) - Not bad!

Even Chirag headed towards the elevator, behind Ishani.

In the elevator, Ishani was still lost somewhere. A tear fell from her eye, and a she whispered to herself in a very low sound - Today, everything will be finished. Me, my smile, my happiness, everything!

Finally, their elevator stopped and they stepped out of the elevator. They started walking to the hotel's big and fancy corridor until they stopped by the room 204'.

Puneet was walking towards the stairs but he stopped as soon as he spotted Ishani and Chirag.

Puneet(confused, to himself) - Ms.Parekh. Was she supposed to come in the meeting? Let me ask sir.

Puneet took out his phone from his back pocket and dialed Ranveer's number. After few minutes, Ranveer answered his call.

Hello Puneet, did you reach? I am just on my way. Is everything fine?

Yes sir, I am here. I just called you too ask if Ms.Parekh was also supposed to be present in the meeting.

Ishani?

Yes sir.

No! No female employees are supposed to be present in the meeting.

Sir, I just called you because when I was in my way to the meeting, I saw Ms.Parekh with Chirag Mehta. Sir, actually I was on my way to meeting. The elevator was busy and I didn't want to get late so I climbed the stairs. And then I saw Ms.Parekh and Chirag Mehta standing outside a room. I thought that she was also required to be there because she is your PA. S just to confirm, I called you sir.

Ranveer, didn't say anything back, in thoughts - Ishani seemed very sad today. Is it because of Chirag?

Sir, even Chauhan is with them. He just opened the room's door for them.

Suddenly Ranveer's face had really bad anger.

Ranveer hung up the call and started driving his car as fast as he can.

Ranveer(in anger) - Now I know why Ishani was looking upset today. Something is fishy! That Chirag may have said something to her. And that Chauhan! He is a cheap man! I have to reach there before anything happens.

Chirag and Ishani entered the room when Mr.Chauhan opened the door with a dirty smirk.

Mr.Chauhan - So finally you are here(looking at Chirag) - you can leave.

Chirag - But sir...

Mr.Chauhan(pushing him towards the door) - Leave! Don't worry about your girlfriend...I will take care of her. You just go! You can take her after 3 hours. Go now!

Ishani was hearing their conversation and was crying at the same time. Mr.Chauhan pushed Chirag out of the room and slammed the door on his face. He slowly turned around and saw Ishani's back. He silently walked towards her and stood behind her. He had a dirty smile on his face. He raised his hand and kept on Ishani's shoulder. He tried to remove Ishani's dupatta that she wore over her shoulders. Before he could take off her dupatta, Ishani turned around...

Ishani(she walked few steps behind) - No! I won't let you do anything with me! You will not do anything to me or Chirag.

Mr.Chauhan(laughing) - Haahaa! Will you call police or file a complaint against me...Huh?

Ishani - I will do anything to save me and Chirag from you.

Mr.Chauhan(going towards her and pinning her to wall) - Accha! But for filing a complaint, I have to do something to you and then you will file a complaint, right?

Ishani(crying and shouting) - Leave me! Please! Leave me!

Mr.Chauhan(pushing her towards bed) - Not that easy! Just look at you! I mean, you look like an angel that came from heaven. Your white skin, your red cheeks, your dark hair, do you think any man will leave you without doing anything to you. If you want your boyfriend to live a happy life, do what I tell you!

Mr.Chauhan started was walking towards Ishani with a lusty smile on his face.

Ishani - Don't come close to me! I am telling you don't come close to me!

Mr.Chauhan took her dupatta in his hands and immediately pulled her dupatta off. He threw her dupatta on the floor and saw Ishani who was crying, crossing both of her hands over her chest.

Mr.Chauhan(laughing evilly) - Haha! Try to save your respect. Nobody will come to save you from me...Nobody!

Ishani(crying) - Just shut up! I won't let you touch me!

Mr.Chauhan went to her and immediately pinned her to the wall.

Mr.Chauhan - If you forgot, this is a deal! Where you have to do what I say and what I want! You are here to please me. Don't you show me your attitude. Just do what I say, or else my your boyfriend and your daughter will die and no police will help you! You don't know how powerful I am! Mr.Chauhan was talking to Chirag but to make Ishani believe that Chirag is in his man's custody, he said that to Chirag.

Mr.Chauhan put the call on the speaker

Tears fell from Ishani's eyes.

After hearing this, Mr.Chauhan disconnected the call and threw it on the floor. Mr.Chauhan set on the bed and was going close to Ishani. Ishani was crying and had no choice but to do what he say. He was going close to her and Ishani was moving backwards until her back hit to the bed's wall. Mr.Chauhan had a nasty smile on his face and Ishani had lots of tears rolling down her eyes. Mr.Chauhan was about to go close to her but suddenly, they both heard the huge noise of the door banging. It was none other then Ranveer whose face had plenty of anger in his face and his eyes were red. He looked like if he was going to kill somebody. He ran to the bed in anger and grabbed Chauhan with his collar and saw Ishani who was crying very badly. He gave a tight slap on Chauhan's cheek.

Ranveer(holding his collar angrily) - How dare you touch her! How dare you make her cry! How dare you b*stard!

Ranveer again slapped him and Chauhan fell on the floor.

Ishani kept her hands crossed above her chest by hiding it and was crying badly.

Chauhan - I just wanted to have fun with her.

This made Ranveer get more angry. He again held him by his collar angrily and slapped him.

Ranveer(yelling) - Fun! You wanted to have fun with her! You bas***d!

Ranveer was slapping him right and left in anger and saw the lamp at the bedside. He went and took the lamp and was about to hit him but Ishani stopped him.

Ishani(crying) - Ranveer! Please don't! Leave him! Please!

Ranveer saw Ishani crying and he left the lamp. He got up and cupped Ishani's face.

Ranveer - Ishani, are you fine? Did he do anything to you?

He saw Chauhan whose mouth was bleeding and in anger Ranveer said while looking at Chauhan - If he did, then I will kill him.

Ishani - Ranveer no! He didn't do anything.

Ranveer saw Ishani's dupatta lying on the floor. He picked up her dupatta and covered her with her dupatta.

Ranveer(seeing Ishani) - Let's go

Ishani saw Ranveer and then looked at Chauhan.

Ranveer(getting Ishani) - Don't worry, Police will take care of him.

Ranveer and Ishani started heading out of the room. They went to the parking lot and and sat in the car and started driving off.

In the Car...

Ishani was sitting like zombie, think about Chirag and Hasti. Ranveer saw Ishani who had no smile on her face and was lost somewhere else. It was silent and suddenly Ranveer's call broke the silence. Ranveer, without seeing the display, picked up the call, that was also connected to his car, on speaker.

Hello Mr.Majnu!

Hearing this voice, both Ranveer and Ishani recognized that it's Chirag. Ranveer looked at Ishani in a shocked while Ishani looked at him in a confused way.

Ishani(in thoughts, confused) - Chirag? How is he calling?

Chirag - Where are you? In your house? Haw! Ranveer, you should not be in your house right now. You should be in the Pan Pacific Hotel right now because your Laila is losing her respect for me! Haha!

Ishani got shocked hearing this

Ranveer, stopping the car and looked at Ishani. Ishani in anger opened the door and started walking to the cliff of the bridge.

Ranveer(removing his seat belt and scared) - Oh shit!

Ishani was trying to stand on the bridgeside and she did, before she could jump into the river, Ranveer pulled her towards him. Ishani realised that she is still alive and Ranveer saved her.

Ishani(pushing Ranveer) - Just stay away from me! Just stay away!

Ishani was crying very badly, like she never before did.

Ishani - Let me die!

Ishani again went to the bridgeside but Ranveer again pulled her back and held her very close to her.

Ranveer - What the were you about to do Ishani? Did you think about your family and Hasti? If you will do this then what will that little girl will do? Have you ever think about it? Why are you doing this because of a wrong person.

Ishani - Ranveer, I have always trusted the wrong person and never trusted the right person. I should die Ranveer! This should be my mistake for not trusting you and trusting that man! I have made a big mistake! I should die!

Ranveer cupped her face and wiped her tears - Ishani...Ishani please stop crying! Stop crying! Ishani, think of your family and Hasti, they need you. Hasti is just a child and she needs her mother right now. Ishani, you are a human and humans sometimes trust wrong persons but for that, they should not give up and die. Ranveer's eyes too had tears - No Ishani! It was Chirag! He was a bad guy from first! Ishani, he played with your feelings. Not only with yours, but also Garima's. He betrayed Garima by telling her that after he will marry you, he will take your money and will take care of her and her child. But, he then betrayed her. Ishani, all you did was just loved him-

Ishani fell on her knees and joined her hands and cried - I am sorry Ranveer! Please forgive me! Please! I am sorry Ranveer!

Ranveer held Ishani by her shoulders and made her stand up. Tears were rolling down from both of them eyes.

Ranveer cupped Ishani's face - Ishani, what are you doing this! Please don't do this! Your place is not on my feet, your place is here (Ranveer kept his hand on his chest) - Here, in my heart.

Ishani locked herself in Ranveer's embrace tightly. Ranveer too locked his arms around Ishani tightly.

Ishani(being in the hug) - Ranveer, I promise, I will love you so much that my love will be enough for us two to live whole life. I love you Ranveer!

Ranveer had mixed feelings, he was angry but happy at the same time too. He had tears of happiness in his eyes.

Ranveer(with a smile) - I love you too Ishani! I love you too! I will love you and Hasti very much. I will never let any problems to come to you both. I will never let Hasti to know the real identity of her father, Chirag.

Ishani, after hearing this, she slowly came out of the hug and said - Ranveer?

Ranveer too came out of the hug and cupped her face - Yes Ishani, tell me..

Ishani - Woh, Ranveer, I have something to tell you.

Ranveer - Yeah Ishani, tell me.

Ranveer - Kya?!

Ishani - Haan Ranveer, she is not mine and Chirag's daughter. She is Gauri Di and Romil's daughter.

Ranveer had a confused face and didn't understand what Ishani was saying.

Ranveer - I didn't get you Ishani.

Ishani - Ranveer, remember, I went to America to finish my course at your USA's company?

Ranveer(shaking his head as yes') - Hmm..then?

Ishani - Ranveer, it was my last month and I wanted to see Gauri Di. Gauri Di was in New York too so I decided to meet her at coffee shop and I was so happy that I will meet her after this many years. When I went to meet her at the coffee shop, I saw a baby in her hands and asked if she was her daughter. She said yes and she looked very upset. I asked her what was the matter and she said that her in-laws are treating her really badly and they are even raising their hands on Gauri Di, especially Romil. He always comes home drunk and beats Gauri Di. Later, Gauri Di got pregnant and when after few months, she delivered the baby, it was girl, Hasti. Gauri Di was so happy but her in-laws were unhappy because they were expecting a boy. They asked Gauri Di to leave the baby in the orphanage. But Gauri Di, refused to do that because she was happy with Hasti. Because of this, Romil use to raise his hand at Gauri Di often. One day, Gauri Di's mother-in-law even tried to kill Hasti by adding sleeping pills in the milk but Gauri Di saw it and saved Hasti. After that, Gauri Di, never use to leave Hasti alone for a second. But, she was scared that her in-laws may do something to Hasti. So she told me to take Hasti with me to India. I agreed and when I came back to India that Hasti is my daughter and she is 1 month old but actually she is 8 and half month, almost 9 months old. But, I never thought that, that cheap man will use a little child for taking revenge.

Ranveer was very angry - How disgusting! Because Gauri had a daughter, they tried to kill her. (He saw Ishani) - Ishani, don't worry, I will also bring Gauri back to India and she will be infront of you. I promise! I will always take care of you and Hasti and will love you till my last breathe!

Ishani had tears in her eyes listening this and she immediately hugged Ranveer.

Ishani - I love you Ranveer!

Ranveer had a smile hearing this - I love you too Ishani! I love you so much!

He kissed her forehead, being in the hug.

RV Mansion

Amba and Lakshmi were sitting on the hall, laughing and watching TV.

Amba - I am very hungry.

Lakshmi - Me too.

Amba - Let's wait till Ranveer come because he told me that he is having meeting in the hotel so let's wait.

Lakshmi(shocked) - Aiy, Moti Ben..

Ranveer saved her atlast expected given that he is a hero.
But what happened to chirag he himself committed to his sins he is gone now.
And ishani I realised she live ranveer wellt his was very quick
But the biggest shock was about hasti I mean I always felt ishani will never do something like this bit you guys might have made a twist as you all wanted ranveer to be like harshad.
But if hasti is not his child then why chirag is telling this to everyone just to spoil ishani name or to pester ranveer.
I so wanted to see when he comes to knowhe himself blabbered and ishani left him.
But real shock was last part I mean so fast they could have waited a bit.
This all is very confusing something is missing

Today the first time in the history of MATSH I have no anger on chirag 😛 because he itself told all the truth and his dirty games to ishaani indirectly...
And it's awesome that ishaani realised that she love ranveer insisted of chirag and she accepted it without any doubt ... 😳 and in the last there was a huge shocked that is ishveer wedding 😳 ...
