The episode starts with Ishaani crying relentlessly and SHikhar tries to pacify her and urging her to make a fresh start , forget the past.
The door bell goes and shikhar finds RV at his door , before letting RV in he hides Ishaani in his room to prevent RV getting ideas about shikhar and Ishaani. RV enters and looks for the girl Shikhar was talking to ,shikhar makes an excuse and goes out to make a phone call to his friend asking her to make inquiries about Devarsh parikh
RV on the other hand goes to shikhar's room and finds a girl weeping uncontrollably there, The room is dark and they are unable to see each other, RV feels bad for the girl and offers her a pack of tissues with out uttering a word , RV at one point tries to touch her shoulder but hesitates and pulls back his hand , Both feel some unknown attraction for one another but they are unable to place each other.RV turns back to look at the weeping girl and later Ishaani runs after that man who gave her that tissue but its too late -----
RV returns to the hall and finds shikhar ,he asks about his girl friend whom he wanted to return her lost ring . shikhar refuses to let him meet Ishani
Ishaani then asks her friend to fake to RV that the dove ring was hers and that she had personally ordered it as she loved its design , RV is heart broken to learn that the ring was not belonging to ishaani, Ishaani thanks her friend for helping her , while her friend assures Ishaani that her ring will be returned to her soon
In her house disha is getting frustrated with her baby , she complains to Baa about her baby who was always crying , she gets scolded by baa for neglecting him.
Heart broken RV returns home he finds Ritika was arranging the curtains, The curtain falls due to her handling , RV rushes to save her from the falling curtain, He holds her waist and they suddenly find each other very close covered by curtain, They have shocked eyelock, Ritz caresses his face ,
RV feels awkward and removes the curtain and moves out, Ritz apologises and she too feels awkward
At Shikhar's house Ishaani tells him to give her a new identity, As this was necessary to make a new beginning as her old name was attached to a past which all want to forget and dissociate with , Shikhar gives her "Nirupa Roy" as she cried just like that actress, SHikhar makes light hearted jokes with ishaani and makes her smile
At RV's house he joins his family at breakfast table with his parents and ritika , laxmi, He takes care of ritika and orders her fav sandwich , but she wants to talk to RV alone ,
In the study Ritika is waiting for him when he comes and advises her not to get tensed about the baby and the doc's report
Ritika wants to talk to him about the incident last night
