This thing baffles me .. Harshad says all his success because of this whiz kid Ranveer, but he doesn't pay him appropriately? I say that because ranveer's condition seems to be bad .. remember his dad whines when he gets the shoes because heowes some money in the village.

Why doesn't ranveer use his skills to earn some good money? I mean saying he is like Harshad's son seem to be enough for him while his own dad is worried sick about 1Lac that he owes someone. Seems weird

That's because Ranveer needs a strong base or motivation to earn money. Harshad pays him off good salary, but he doesn't spend it for his own benefit. He compiles it so that his father can pay the debt they have. It's not like they don't have money, but he doesn't spend it because some other things are necessary than that.

completely agree with u

but the reason i see is that ranveer is not appointed to help harshad out

he's just helping him out due to love and respect for harshad

so he's just being paid for what he is kept for

but i feel if ranveer is this good, he should try to stand on his own feet

Thats the point .. He sees his father's debt is causing stress, yet he choses to focus on harshad and ishani. Its clear that his mom does not like working for baa, and yet he is content being man Friday for harshad, thats whats not sitting well with me. I guess if he was an orphan i would have found it acceptable, but for him to see harshad above his parents and to not use those business skills to make their life better, now that will need some story telling to explain why

but as amba mentioned in one episode, that its ishaani's love more than loyalty for harshad which is making ranveer to bear all this and stay there
