Hello everyone,
this is my first post here...

I have started watching MATH actually because of Shakti Arora and Sarita Joshi (BAA)... they are both brilliant actors.
But one thing is really irritating me... the characterization of Ranveer.
He and his family are very poor. They have sometimes even not to eat properly. But isn't Ranveer educated? What actually is he doing in the Parekh House? Somehow he is present everywhere...like a secretary... so he should be paid well then, right? But he isn't. I think he is capable and qualified enough to find a job and work somewhere else.

Not stretching this post any longer that's my point of view, I have not the intention to hurt anyone's sentiments

Ranveer's like a family to Harshad. I wonder if he himself takes any salary. I don't remember anywhere in the show where Ranveer and his father didn't have anything to eat properly. Ranveer helps Harshad in his business (out of loyalty) and his father certainly gets salary for his job. They're poor, yes, but they are given job by the Family. I can't think Ranveer or his father going out somewhere to seek job so that they can get better cloths or food.

agree with Elvish_Hobbit

Ranveer is getting salary for doing whatever he is doing
and his helping in other chores i natural
our emoployees many a time help in family things when they are living with us
and also ranveer considers harshad next to his father
also its evident he is getting salary as he was showing with his savings when ishaani taunts him
they have proper food to eat but as they are living in parekh house they are served with the leftover

I know Ranveer is family to Harshad but that it. Ishani is also very much attached to him. But the rest?
I think in one episode where he and his father were eating some leftovers of the day before. And Ranveer mentioned the food is spoilt or something ... don't remember exactly.
Ranveer father certainly gets a salary...
What i want to say is it looks to me very unrealistic the way they are shown. I mean he helps Harshad but rest of the day he is roaming around with Ishaani and the other Parekh "kids"
That's something I perfectly identify with. He has two strong bonds with the Family. One is Ishani who'd anything for his friendship; and Ranveer means so much to her that whenever she needs courage or a shoulder to cry on, it has to be him; another is her father who treats him as his beloved son. Okay, I guess I'm rambling a lot.
I think in one episode where he and his father were eating some leftovers of the day before.
I don't remember which episode is this, haven't seen the show from the start. But isn't it said Ranveer would eat noodles or something, or he and his father wouldn't cook. He's like a free bird, I guess who loves to fly. So probably not so worried about meal?
What i want to say is it looks to me very unrealistic the way they are shown. He certainly helps Harshad, not only Harshad but he's there to do work for other things too. When it comes to the business's business, I suppose he's one of the people who "work intelligent" rather than "working hard." From what I've seen, I've come to this conclusion. Btw, no one works 24 x 7, so give the guy a break. It's about the priorities too. Like if it's about Ishani, he'd probably leave everything. Oh, and I don't remember him roaming around with the kids except Disha's wedding planning scene. Would like to know where he was wandering around for no reason! :D
