At breakfast, the family is singing a poetry teasing Vrinda and her impending marriage, till an emotional moment befalls Kashinath and he leaves without eating.
Shankar tells Sharada to give Vrinda some extra parathas because she won't be getting the taste of mother's food in the near future as now she is a guest. Vrinda tells Shankar to keep quiet or she will slap him.
Vrinda's phone rings. It is Vikram. Vrinda ignores it. Everyone is eyeing her. Finally she answers. She tells Vikram she will call him later as she is sitting with everyone. Vikram replies that he is her husband to be, not some street worker so tell everyone that Vikram has called and he will get permission to woo his love. She cuts him off with a bye and hangs up.
Krishna asks Vrinda who called. She becomes shy and replies it was a wrong number. Krishna says if it was a wrong number then why is she becoming shy.
Vikram calls again. Shankar asks her whose phone is it now and Sanya adds that it must again be a wrong number. Shy of all the teasing, Vrinda excuses herself and answers the call.
Vrinda scolds Vikram for calling her repeatedly. She says that she is sitting with everyone and will call him later. Vikram tells her to tell them it is Champa's phone. Vikram modulates his voice to sound like a girl, Champa. He tells her to ask Champa how are you and he will reply he is fine. Then he tells her to say 'oh my dearest friend Champa I am coming now to meet with you' alright.
Sanya interrupts and tells her that after talking to her friend, she wants Vrinda to come up to her room.
Vrinda tells Vikram that he should keep his great ideas to himself and says bye.
Krishna asks her whose call it was. Vrinda lies that it was her friend. Krishna enquires the name to which Vrinda replies Champa. Krishna laughs and Vrinda goes up to Sanya's room.
Sanya presents Vrinda with a necklace set. Vrinda says that she will take it on her engagement day and goes to put it back in the drawer. There Vrinda finds a picture of Sanya-Aditya marriage. She stares at it. Sanya takes the picture from her and turns it over on the table. Sanya says that she is trying to forget all these things and doesn't want Vrinda to remember and get worried. Sharada stops in front of the room, she overhears them. Vrinda is sad that everyone at home is happy and she and Aditya are not together. Sanya says that she has learned to live without him.
Aditya arrives home, asking his servant to put food on the table. He finds that the food has already been placed on the table. He sits down to eat and get the fragrance of his mother's cooking. Sharada is there. Aditya is surprised to see her. She serves him his food. He asks her how come she is here all of a sudden. She replies that she is here to see her son and doesn't need to take an appointment. Aditya says the last time they met, the circumstances were not good. Sharada replies that the last time, it was her son's mistake and if she remembers it for the rest of her life that it would be her mistake. She reiterates that she is his mother and she loves him very much. Aditya says that the rest don't love him. Sharada replies that he will realize their love when he comes home for his sister's engagement. Aditya says its not easy. Sharada replies that leaving home is also not easy but he did it. She agress that returning home is difficult but not impossible and if not for them then at least return for Vrinda's sake as the happiest day of her life would be incomplete for her without the presence of her brother.
Aditya tells her that he can do anything for Vrinda but Kashinath is a stumbling block for him. Sharada tells him that since he began to walk she has understood him and till today she can still see that innocence in his eyes and the only difference now being he is wearing spectacles of suspicion. She urges him to removes those spectacles. Aditya argues that it doesn't make a difference to anyone whether he is present or not.
Sharada tells him that a small misunderstanding she can accept a mistake but a lifelong misunderstanding is a crime. She adds that in life there is no greater happiness than family and he won't get a better opportunity than this to remove misunderstandings. She pleads with him to return home.
Aditya agrees saying that if Kashinath can leave his ego and go to his enemy's house, he Aditya has only got to go back to his own home. Sharada is ecstatic and eagerly waiting for Aditya to return home.
Outside, Banu has come to see Aditya and spies upon Sharada leaving. He wonders what she is doing there. When he goes in, he sees Aditya carrying a bottle of liquor and assumes that there must have been a showoff between son and mother and that is why the son is resorting to liquor. He watches Aditya take the bottle to the bathroom. He watches Aditya pour the liquor down the sink. Banu is perplexed that such expense liquor that Banu has provided is being wasted.
Aditya looks into the bathroom mirror and sees Banu. He asks Banu what he is doing there. Banu says that he was passing by and decided to drop by. Aditya tells him that now he doesn't need the support of liquor anymore. Banu pretends to be very happy to hear this and enquires into the change of heart. Aditya tells him that he has realized that a person is nothing without his family and by sacrificing his ego he is able to enjoy the happiness of life and this he has learned from Banu himself. Banu is shocked, did he accidentally do something right? Aditya says that Banu sacrificed his ego and gave happiness to everyone. Banu says that he is very happy with Aditya's decision and had actually come to make him understand this, to forget the past and fulfill his husbandly role. They hug. But behind his back, Banu says that he will never allow the reunion to take place.
Vrinda is sitting in front of the mirror, dressing herself and playing with different hairstyles to see what she looks pretty in. She is very happy. Vikram calls her. He utters some poetry of reflection in the mirror etc.. Vrinda looks around as it is a coincidence. Vikram tells her no need to look around because in the world whichever girl is going to get married she spends hours in front of the mirror. Vrinda tells him he is very well informed about the habits of girls but she was trying to catch a glimpse of him in the reflection. He tells her to do one day, tonight look at the moon as the saying goes that if one looks at the moon with their heart, they see the one who is closest to their heart.She says she will see and tells him goodnight.
Vrinda goes to the balcony and spots the moon. She closes her eyes and prays aloud, wondering if Vikram told her the truth that she will be able to see the face of her love. When she opens her eyes, she sees Vikram in front of her. She is surprised. He smiles and tells her everything is possible in love. She turns to leave, He catches her and they stare into each other. She asks him what he is doing there and someone might see them and what they will say. Vikram replies that they will say that these two should get married quickly otherwise they will bring disrespect. Vrinda teases Vikram about being impatient and tells him to let the engagement happen first, then talk about marriage and she pushes him away. Vikram impatiently asks when the engagement will happen. She tells him that after two days its Raashi's birthday and that day will be their engagement. She wants to give Raashi a big gift, as Raashi likes Vikram and when Raashi finds out how much Vikram loves Vrinda, Raashi will be very happy.
Then they show Raashi sleeping on her bed. She is dreaming. There is a man dressed in jeans and leather jacket with a scarf around his neck, sunglasses and hair gelled back. Raashi sneaks up behind him and covers his eyes. The man turns around. It is Vikram. They hug.
