Vrinda bids goodbye to Vikram from her window.
Kashinath calls her as he enters her room. He asks if she has chosen the saree and jewellery.
She affirms.
Kashinath asks her to show them to him.
She goes to her cupboard and Kashinath goes to the window, he sees Vikram getting into his car. He looks back at Vrinda, and sees Vrinda wiping her tears.
Vrinda shows him the saree and jewellery and praises the items. Kashinath stares at her and says that God should give every father a daughter like her, blesses her with long life and leaves.
The groom's family comes. The boy is Rohit.
Vrinda comes down all decked up. The groom is very happy.
The groom's father suggest that the bride and groom be given a few moments in private.
Kashinath is slightly alarm. He recalls everyone's word against the rishta.
He tells them that as a daughter she has understood and respected her father's feelings but as a father he has not understood his daughter.
Kashinath folds his hands in front of them and says the marriage is off.
He asks for permission to back out.
The groom's father asks what mistake they have made since Kashinath was the one who made the proposal.
Kashinath says your son is one in a million but Vrinda's heart is set elsewhere.
He asks them for forgiveness and hopes they will be able to forgive him.
The groom says its alright at least he came to the decision before the rituals started.
They forgive Kashinath and leave.
Kashinath says that the decision in which Sharada is not a party cannot go through. Vrinda is happy.
At the temple, Sharada is praying for Vrinda's happiness.
Kashinath comes to the temple.
He announces that the Pandit do a havan for his daughter and the groom.
Panditji asks the name of the bride, he replies Vrinda.
Then the Panditji asks the name of the groom, Kashinath replies Vikram.
Sharada is elated.
Vikram bidding adieu to his parents. Maya requests him to change his mind but he tells her that the situation will not change by his staying back. Vikram says he wants to be alone for a while and if her is unable to handle it he will return.
He leaves.
Sharada comes home all happy. She and Vrinda hug.
She says that the time has come to give Vikram his property.
Kashinath says he trust his daughter's choice.
He tells Shankar to take Vrinda to Vikram.
Vrinda feels shy.
Shankar pushes her out of the door.
Vikram is in the car.
Shankar and Vrinda arrive at Vikram's place.
The guard tells them that Vikram has left fro the airport.
Vrinda calls his handphone but there is no reply.
Shankar and Vrinda speed down the road to the airport.
Shankar drops her off midway. He goes down a dirt road, a shortcut.
and intercepts Vikram's car.
Vikram gets down and asks him what the matter is now.
Shankar scolds him and tells him to suffer the consequences of his actions.
Shankar tells him that he has fallen on all four sides and there is no chance of escape.
Shankar tells him to look behind.
Vikram looks across at the bridge above.
He sees Vrinda there.
Shankar tells him to go look after his property and if he does anything to her then he knows Shankar's nature.
Vikram and Vrinda face each other.
He asks if this is reality or a dream.
Vrinda replies that it is a reality that used to be their dream.
They hug.
