Kaushalya has become a little intolerable

She used to be one of my favorite characters in the show. I used to adore her naivety, her compassion, and her sweet nature. But ever since Riya passed away, I saw a change in her that became intolerable. I agree that she has every right to be jealous of Charni and it is obvious Shanti tries to unnecessarily rile her up by using the new girl, but that was always Shanti's nature. But what is UP with Khusiya? Why is she becoming negative? I really like the new girl because of her, although she's also a little dumb!
