No dear, it's the same megalomaniac Shantiya, where everything is about only her, everything, everyone should only be around her. She is treating her grand daughters like she owns their life breath and the way she treats her grand daughters will only turn them into bitter ones like how she is. The situation that they're in can be turned around only through love and not by being strict . By the time these grand daughters turn old they too will be like Shantiya and treat their beti bahu the same way so the vicious circle will continue. This can be broken only if it relationships are based on love and by bring positive changes in life by breaking the routine .
Moreover in this case it's not beti vs bahu. It's between beti vs beti . Preetiya, Nimmi and Pari!!
Just wait till Riya is pitted against any of the betis and Shantiya's true self will be revealed.
The CVS had faced a severe backlash from viewers , on fb and Instagram as to how can a grandma stoop so low and try to hurt her own family members. So CVS have hopelessly redeemed her character . Whatever Shantiya is doing is because she wants to hide her own failure as a mother and then as a grandmother. Btw there's a dialect in North India where people like Shantiya are called as 'Dayan' - a Witch who devours/destroys her own family. She got her own grand daughter in law robbed , tried to intimidate Preetiya by sending a fake gift by pretending it's from Mohit and humiliated them on every possible occasion and now it's like sau chuhe khake billi hajj ko chali !
What Preetiya and Nimmi are going through can be changed only through love , specially Preetiya , if she is punished badly, she'll turn more evil and bitter and keep hating everybody and end up hurting herself and others . First it was Chanda and now Preetiya , who were made scapegoats, how much will CVS wax eloquent to keep Shantiya in good books of viewers ?
Writers of mam take the cake on how to window dress a wretched character but viewers can see through it lol
