Shanti insults Kaushalya and asks her to beg her for money. Kaushalya holds her saree and asks Shanti to give her some money. Its Raksha bandhan festival and four sisters are at home who has right to take nek. Raghav and Shivam's salary goes to Shanti. Its rule in Shanti Sadan that Shanti manages the expenses. Kaushlaya wants some money from Shanti. Shanti is punishing Kaushalya for hiding money which Renu gave Kaushalya. Shanti gets that money and scolds Kaushalya. Shanti then gives nek of 100rs each to Kaushalya's daughters, and 10000rs nek to Sarla. She gets partial and still Kaushalya does not say anything.Shanti bangs the cupboard in anger.

No grandchild should get a dadi like Shanti. I am 53 years old and still remember my dadi with great fondness. Before passing on, my dadi said she will be a star in the sky and I was just 10 years old. Till date my brother and I look up in the sky whenever something good happens to us.

My mom at 76 years is looking after her 24 yrs grandson. Both have such warm relationship.

Shanti, as a dadi is an exceptional case. Whoever is the creative writer, maybe didnot have a good bond with his own dadi and has used this serial to show his feelings.

Creatives don't realize that in today's nuclear families such serials can have adverse impact on young minds.

All relationships should be loved and respected. There should be balance not hatred and malice..
