such a horrible woman she is, she wanted Shanti to force Riya into marrying Amit...all for the money...Rani realized the money part in the span of 4 days, hence she told her chachi to hit the hammer when the iron is hot...thats when chachi spoke bt the 10 acres land...btw, Hadn't Sarla mentioned something about marriage within 4 days or else she dies lie...how come no-one not even Raghav or Anupam mentioned it once...
Shivam was trying to keep it simple and took the blame for his delay in disclosing his feelings for Riya.
Shanti Devi had to choose between her son and daughter's displeasure. She rules the roost at Shanti Sadan and had to listen to Raghav who reminded her that she had to make the right decision. Talk about feeling the heat...Raghav unknowingly pressured her into doing the right thing.
Shanti Devi probably thinks she can throw a few thousand rupees Sarla's way and she will come running like a dog that was just gifted a new bone. Sarla is selfish, sinister, greedy and will sell her whole family if someone gave her a million bucks. 😕
Sarla was behaving like a cat on a hot tin roof so when Shivam was talking about the chores he was given, Shanti Devi realized her ladli daughter had talked her into sending Shivam on errands one after the other and she caught on to her daughter's plans to keep Shivam out of the picture until Amit married Riya. Raghav was oblivious to the truth and thought Shivam was blaming his mother for sending him on chores.
Sarla reaped what she sowed. Her nanad gave her great advice...but she's not one to listen. She's downright a drama queen, only this time it blew up in her face. She won many battles trying to sink Cowsalya and her kids (she wouldn't dare cross her brother whose money she dibs into through Shanti Devi) but Sarla lost the war after Shanti Devi said Riya would marry Shivam. 👏
