in terms of "everyday" metric unit, about how long would be the DNA from a single human cell if the DNA from all its chromosomes were placed end-to-end?if all the DNA in a human being were placed end-to-end, about how many times to the moon and back would it reach?😃
Well, if you are talking about an everyday metric unit, we would be talking about a metre right? And also, it wouldn't even reach the moon let alone back cos the distance from the earth to the moon is approx. 384400km, right? And there are a 1000 metres in a km, so times 38 4400 by 1000.
Good heavens! I cannot even begin to imagine that there are cells in our body that if placed back to back could measure twice that distance (moon AND back) 😕 OMG!!! Is that possible?!? That would be amazing!😕 and shocking! 😲 Someone pls tell me that its not possible!
I just had a thought... do human cells contain elasticity? then would it be measured when taut? or not? 😕
