1.5 L IT job loss in 2024-25 unti now.

Banking sector is also cutting jobs.

In the name of restructure, lacs of jobs are being lost.

I wonder how would these companies have profitability if people don't have enough to consume their product.

Soon there would be blood bath on street.

They will soon realise. AI wasn't successful in defence you know. Slowly there are reports coming that it can't be used too much. It's a helping hand only.

it is still a novice in complex process like some defence but corporate work it is slowly take over, a large amount of work is being automated and majority of big companies are spending tons for their own llm and ai, so they can soon replace their human employees.

I have used llm and ai both.. they are not giving us upto the mark result. If human intervention is still needed in some works. My work has doubled because of this.

AI was heavily used by the Indian Army in the recent clash between IndoPak following the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

The use of drones which have inbuilt intelligence to neutralise the target that meets the criterion of enemy .
This use of s helped us save precious lives of many soldiers of this was done by combatants in the field .

AI is opening up newer fields in the management of various diseases which were hitherto thought impossible .

Yes . You are right . AI can only help us but can’t take over the entire thing .

Humans have to be in control ultimately …It can be deployed in fields which Humans are in danger … like in the war scenario or they can’t reach the place … like in microscopic vascular surgeries .

The thread gives a deep insight to AI and helps to understand the impact of it in our daily lives.

We are using a kind of AI in my office. My job requires productivity to satisfy clients. As much as it is needed for the company's growth, it has it's own limits and dangers.

Brillant thread, write up and graphicssmiley1

Thanks Maria! I too learned a lot about AI while researching for this thread and it was quite mind boggling to know AI’s reach and influence over us. Feels insidious somehow. Like already there are so many AI related tasks we can’t survive without and its sphere of influence is just expanding. Hope we’re able to take a step back and do more on our own instead of relying on AI for everything - it’s making people stupid. I see it in schools and it’s scary cos kids don’t want to put in hard work anymore when things are so easily done by AI.
