@b: they did. They clarified that multiple saboteurs would be there and each of them would get two opportunities. Till here it’s crystal. But then if you fail to mention *every single saboteur* can attack the same thread twice, is it really a fault in my understanding ? Must be I guess.

Hmm maybe it was just lost in translation. I can understand that. Sometimes 2 people read the same thing and understand it in 2 ways. I mean when they sent us the instructions for saboteurs, the PM and details made sense to me, but some saboteurs had questions as well and some of it was just a verbiage thing.

I can see that as well. Maybe they said it one way and you understood it another way. I totally understand.

But may I just say that don't threaten to quit like that over this. Between yesterday and today, I think like 5 people have either threatened to do or have done it. I get why Shreya got angry about that.

Also just ask for a clarification next time. I don't think any host minds clarifying things, especially not the hosts of this game. All of them have been going out of their way to be helpful and remind people about certain rules of each round.

BTW was this something you misunderstood or your entire team? I'm just wondering if it's widespread and thus the round explanation was off or if it was a one-off. And please don't misunderstand. I'm not saying you have a lack of comprehension skills. I'm just wondering more broadly.

Since it's the first time, we'll just trash it and not count it as a negative. But please be careful. You won't get 10 points and the team won't get penalized.

No. What we've told them is to edit a post if they post after someone else. We'll go in and trash those posts. But they will show up for some time until I can trash. If while trashing posts, one of your Holi-related posts does fall back a page though, we won't penalize you for that. I'll let Riya know and we'll make a note that it wasn't your "fault" so to speak.

I got a clarification which is why I was frustrated in the first place. This should have been clarified before the game and not left to the understanding or (misunderstanding) of the participants.

Making it clear, I didn’t not threaten to quit. I said I had the urge to quit because this game has been quite taxing. Between the last round and this, it’s definitely been hectic. Last round we didn’t know fastest finger would be a criteria for bonus points. I DIDNOT threaten to quit like you mentioned even though like many people I stayed up quite late to post right on time, but no avail. Just told WD, she should consider some other criteria for bonus points and left it at that.

I’m not one of the 5 people who people who threatened to quit so why should I be the punching bag bearing the brunt of someone else’s threats ?

I DO ask for clarifications. I don’t threaten to quit because things are getting a little difficult. Not the first time I am playing a game that’s hosted by Shreya, but this is definitely the first time I’m having problems in a game.

@violet: I would like to know this too. Am I the only dumbhead who has bad comprehension skills or are there people who actually understood ? Coz if I am not wrong, a few pages back saw Shreya ( Ragazaa_dolce) asking Lizzie for a clarification for the same thing.

@ Red: But how are they supposed to know if you understood or not? If you're not asking questions, then they're going to assume you understood just like anyone would. I mean think about it. If you give me a task to do or I sign up for a game and you send me the details and then I don't ask questions, aren't you going to assume I understood? Why should you assume I misunderstood and what I misunderstood?

@ Purple: I don't think you are bearing the brunt of what others said. You, just like others, said "I want to quit but staying for my team" (or something like that). When you hear the same thing from a few people then at some point everyone loses their cool. Hey I used to work in a women's shelter in Canada and I would see the same type of women day-in and day-out. Every once in a while I would get pissed off at a woman myself. And not just me but all of us working there. It's like a pressure cooker. The pressure builds up and then suddenly you snap.

@ Blue: Well given that others in your team seem to be playing and without any trouble, I think they understood. But ask them. Maybe they didn't ask like you and now that you're asking, they're just reading the responses and understanding.
