Zindagi Ki Mehekwas a story about a young girl Mehak Sharma, a talented cook with simple thoughts... When she comes across an arrogant business man Shaurya Khanna her world changes completely!! She participated in ISC to prove her talent but she could not succeed owing to Shaurya's trap, who has notion about Mehak being a fake person, Mehak leaves the competition after insulting Shaurya ..After ISC Mehak and Shaurya's path collides again when Shaurya saves her from marrying a greedy guy Ajay ,this makes Mehak change her thoughts about Shaurya and vice versa ,they both were slowly falling in love with each other and when they were about to get married ,Mehak comes to know about Shaurya's betrayal that he wanted to marry her only for her mother Meera Sharma's recipes, heart broken yet a determined Mehak moves in to live with Shaurya demanding for justice and wants to make him a better man, but Shaurya insults her more and destroy Mehak's family shops which makes Mehak accepts her mistake and she leaves Shaurya alone, which in turn makes Shaurya realize how genuine person Mehak was and that he actually loves her...
However winning Mehak back this time was not easy for Shaurya. In order to prove his love for Mehak, he transfers all his wealth on her name and finally Mehak and Shaurya get married but when they are about to begin their married life Mehak comes to know about Shaurya being the reason behind her parents accident, once again a heart broken mehak confronts shaurya about the incident and tells him that she cannot forgive him regarding this... When mehak's family come to know about the same they file a compliant against Shaurya but his mother Karuna gets the punishment and gets attacked in jail... Shaurya blames Mehak for his mother's state and tries to throw her out his house but Mehak determined to help her Karuna ma continues to care for her while leaving in the house... While Shaurya was busy nursing his mother back to her health his lack of attention on his business takes his restaurant down in sale, Shaurya asks Mehak to help him by accompanying him in competition to make his restaurant win its fame back Mehak refuses citing that she is already participating in the same competition with her brother Mohit to help him , furious Shaurya brings in his friend Nikita to compete against Mehak and makes Mehak lose the competition by bribing his brother with money, Mehak confronts Shaurya in front of his investors making a huge mess for White Chillies... When Mehek Shaurya try to sort out the differences in between them their restaurant gets by blasted Ajay and Nikita, who wanted revenge from Shaurya, they plan together to snatch away property of Mehak and Shaurya and they finally succeed... Mehak and Shaurya move to Mehak's house to make their life better but Ajay and Nikita continues troubling them constantly, so Mehak and Shaurya with help of lawyer Khurana try to get their property back by making fool of Ajay with help of Mehak... Lawyer advices Shaurya to go underground so that they can case against Ajay and Nikita but Svetlana kidnaps Shaurya , Mehak realizes that Svetlana is behind shaurya's disappearance , Mehak manages to save Shaurya and send Svetlana to jail, Shaurya and Mehak join hands to trap Ajay to make him fall for Mehak and then she can get their property back...
They almost succeed in their plan but ajay kidnaps Mehak and threatens to kill her, Shaurya saves Mehak and they try to restart their life with each other, Shaurya takes Mehak to Hrishikesh for honeymoon they become one however fate takes a drastic turn by separating Mehak from Shaurya because of Archie, Mehak loses her memory and lives the life of her look alike Vandana... While Shaurya considering her dead was about to get married to Archie...
When Vandana alias Mehak reaches Delhi in Shaurya's house after many hits and miss Shaurya sees Mehak and claims her to be his wife but Vandana refuses owing to her memory loss, and Vandana's husband Mandhaar tries his best to keep her away from Shaurya. Shaurya tries his level best to bring Mehek's memory back but fails miserably, Mehak gets her memory back while trying to save Vandana's son Neev from Mandhaar and stops Shaurya from marrying Archie and try to expose her truth but Archie once again tries to kill Mehak and ends up dying...
When Mehak and Shaurya once again try to build their life together with Neev but a terrorist named Armaan Malik switches himself with Shaurya wearing facial mask and keeping Shaurya as a hostage... Armaan tortures Shaurya and extract all his personal information so that he can try to do blast in prime minister's daughter's wedding as White Chillies is the caterer... Mehak gets suspicious of Shaurya's behaviour while Neev watches Armaan switching his face mask , Armaan hurts Neev and takes him to his goons in the name of treatment... Mehak doubts grows stronger and when she follows Armaan, she watches shaurya being held their as captive and vows to save him, she plots a plan and disguises herself as Naahida to enter Armaan's gang... She saves Shaurya and Neev but Armaan holds Mehak family as hostages and threatens her to help him in planting the bomb on venue!! Mehak and Shaurya helplessly follow Armaan's order but at the end Shaurya and Mehak manages to save Sharma family and the stop the blast from from happening at the wedding and they get felicitated for the same...
Karuna's illegitimate daughter watches them on TV and get furious over Karuna for her own state of growing up as orphan and seeks to destroy her family especially her love for her foster son Shaurya.. Anjali along her boyfriend Suraj makes entry in Khanna mansion through Mehak and Shaurya, Karuna starts to believe Anjali while she traps Mehak and Shaurya in her plan proving them to be wrong in Karuna's eyes!! Mehak and Shaurya leave the house to live a normal life but Anjali wants to hurt them most, she plans to sell Mehak but Shaurya saves her and comes to know that she is pregnant when Karuna prepares a dish for Mehak, Anjali poisons it and successfully convince her mother to transfer property on her name, when Karuna does the same she shows her real face and throws everyone out of the house...
Mehak and Shaurya skillfully trap Anjali by showing that she is dieing of sickness, when Anjali seeks her mother for help Karuna refuses, but Anjali forcefully tries to take Karuna while Mehak confronts her with police and send her to jail, there she meets Svetlana and they join hands to return to Mehak and Shaurya for their revenge... However, Svetalana traps Anjali and gets her killed so that she could be free... Svetlana tries to enter Khanna house but khanna family member refuse her entry, Mehak tries to help her but inreturn Svetlana tries to harm her family yet again and manages to escape... When Mehak Shaurya along their family try to have a good time at picnic, Svetalana kidnaps them seeking Shaurya's property in return and kills all the family members including Shaurya and Mehak, while dying Mehak tells Svetlana she will never be in peace and they will return to end the story...
Kanta chachi is a lone survivor of this incident and she prepare the final rights of all the members and confronts God for the calamity her family faced, she oaths she will only come back to god only when god will give her hope...

Shaurya is two time boxing champion of his college Bright University of Delhi... Mehak a rising boxing champion, gets admission in the same university through her boxing however she first gets to see Shaurya when he accidentally hits her mother from his car,Shaurya tries to confronts Mehak in the college but when he gets to know that she is the Mehak Singh Maan of his childhood he tries to speak to her after witnessing principal's wrath Mehak doesn't pays a heed to Shaurya and warns him to stay away from her and tells him this time she would win the boxing championship...
Shaurya and his friends try to bully Mehak often but when Shaurya's friends try to lock Mehak in store room Shaurya saves her and tells the truth about his friends being the reason behind her disappearance, Mehak starts trusting Shaurya and they slowly become friends and discuss about their nightmares... Jugraj witnesses their bond getting stronger and tries to harm Mehak using Vikram, when Vikram tries to take Mehak she manages to escapes from him but Vikram tells her it was Shaurya and Jugraj who has sent him, Mehak gets shocked hearing this and her coach advises her to eliminate Shaurya from championship to teach him a lesson, Mehak wins Shaurya's trust and sends him away during competition while college committee disqualifies him for further rounds Shaurya feels betrayed and tries to befriend Mehak so that he could trap Mehak with his fake love but falls for her in real when coach gathers some evidence against Jugraj... He hurts coach fatally, when Mehak blames Jugraj for this accident and get him arrested Shaurya kidnaps Mehak from hospital where she tries to donate her kidney to a donor to save her coach...
Mehak tries to run from Shaurya and succeeds while, Arush adopted of son of Svetlana abducts her to take her kidney to save his mother Svetlana, Svetlana gets shocked seeing Mehak... Shaurya manages to save Mehak but Mehak once again misunderstands him and runs away, later on Mehak confronts Shaurya after her escape and tries to gather evidence against him, she almost succeeds but Svetlana tries to harm Mehak making her lose her evidences...
While shaurya constantly tries to bully Mehak, but upon encountouring silence in defence of all his antics he gets restless... When Shaurya accidentally tears Mehak's sleeve she gets furious and beats him and ends up getting rusticated...
When Svetlana meets Arush's fiance Smiriti she gets her second shock seeing Shaurya alive again as Smiriti's brother... Now Svetalana is confirmed that Shaurya and Mehak have returned to get their revenge from her for killing them in past, she vows to kill them once again... Sensing the rift between the duo, Svetlana who earlier wanted to support Shaurya for his boxing championship declares she will now support Mehak for the same, furious Jugraj threatens Smriti to cut off all her ties with Arush. The boxing match was held between Mehak and Shaurya, Mehak wins while Shaurya loses deliberately making Mehak get the sponsorship for boxing championship...
But Shaurya overhears the dirty intension of the CEO, who has offered the sponsorship and tries to save Mehak but she ignores him, when Mehak realizes the real intention of CEO herself she tactfully traps him making her sponsorship secure... But Shaurya misunderstands Mehak, and believes the TV news defaming Mehak regarding her character... Mehak tells Svetlana she has proof of her innocence, Svetlana thinks to harm Mehak while taking her on a trip to Hrishikesh where Svetlana make some goons kidnap Mehak and kill her... However Shaurya saves her again and tries to take her back but Mehak refuses to go with him. Shaurya finally manages to win her trust back and while they plan to get back to Delhi, Svetlana watches their bond and gets furious over it and once again tries to kill them but they escape... Mehak witness a shooter targeting them but when she tries catch the shooter alias Svetlana she flees away the scene pushing Mehak away..
Mehak and Shaurya shares some good time together, but Jugraj tries to marry his daughter Smiriti against her will... Shaurya and Mehak confront him and send him away, asking him not to return until they get married... Police take Jugraj away, Mehak and Shaurya convince Svetlana for Arush and Smirti's wedding... When Mehak and Shaurya are about to get engaged Svetlana fakes her health issues and stops their engagement, Mehak watches her scratch from neck and become suspicious of her to be the shooter... Shaurya asks Mehak's hand in marriage which she happily agrees and she gets a glimpse of her past birth, due to exertion she faints in his arms... Shaurya meets her in hospital where Mehak shares her doubt regarding Svetalana being thier attacker, he resists first but agrees with Mehak to do a background check on Svetlana, but when he doesn't find anything suspicious he convinces Mehak to not think much regarding it.. Next day Svetalana who is aware that she is suspicious in Shaurya and Mehak's eyes reaches Mehak's house with marriage proposal of Arush with Smiriti and Shaurya with Mehak... Shaurya agrees reluctantly but Mehak hesitates sensing Svetlana's hidden motive behind rushing marriage she share her doubt with coach Sharma, he assures her that he would keep track on of Svetlana's move...
When Mehak and Shaurya are enjoy their wedding rituals, Svetlana goes missing while coach follows her.. Svetlana's goons kidnaps him, Shaurya assures Mehak that he will find about coach sir but Svetlana plans to kill Mehak by calling her in an isolated place through Shaurya's mobile... When Mehak reaches there she gets shocked seeing gun shots firing over her, she manages to seek cover but Swati who was following Mehak gets killed... Mehak manages to reach hospital but Swati dies before that.. Loosing her sister, Mehak now suspects Shaurya too and thinks he is with Svetlana in her plans and asks shaurya to give her some lone time... Svetlana traps Shaurya on her plan of making Mehak look Shaurya as Swati's killer, Mehak watches all this and tries to take Svetlana away on knife point but Svetlana manages to dodge and holds mehak at gun point... Svetlana tells her the story of her previous birth and how they are related, how she killed Mehak along with Shaurya and their family...
Mehak recollects all her memory while Svetlana shoots her, Kanta chachi saves Mehak and takes to hospital... When coach and Shaurya try to find Mehak they get information regarding Mehak being in hospital after getting shot, they rush to hospital where doctor declares Mehak dead... Svetlana feels satisfied and Shaurya is broken seeing dead Mehak and asks her how could she leave him the middle while she promised to be with him forever...
