A well-thoughtout letter, a self-introspection. Are they writers? Like you said, the voice of support comes from a place where it actually matters. Amid the negativity and malice, a perfect sarcastic response to the chauvinistic minds. They have beautifully implied that they as writers, must have an understanding of their place in the scheme of things. IMO the real issue here is that a woman, an actress has voiced her opinion strongly against the wrong practices deeply ingrained in a male-dominated industry.
Yes they are writer brothers who have scripted some of the best movies in Malayalam recently.
After their open letter my Respect for them has increased many folds..Mammotty could have handled this situation better but he chose to keep mum.
Earlier last year actor Prithviraj also told in an open letter that he wouldn't act in movie that would disrespect women by action or words after actress molestation case created a stir in the industry. There are men who are not MCP's in industry afterall.
