I think historical and classics are different. Classics are from a specific era altogether.

I second Comedy as a genre. I am confused about the historical/Fantasy part. Because unless you are talking about historical fantasies (and in that case it should really come under fantasy), historical would really be a separate genre and it is not entirely close to fantasy as a genre. Also, while there are romantic comedies, comedy is its own genre. A lot of comedy has nothing to do with romance.

My list would be:

Romance

Historical

Fantasy (could be historical, mythological, dystopian fantasy etc.)

Sci-fi/Paranormal

Thriller/Mystery

Comedy
