"A camera is a save button for the mind's eye"
- Roger Kingston
You know that moment when you look at an image and you're bombarded with a myriad of emotions, feelings, and thoughts?
That's the power of a single photograph.
And the interesting part? It's all very subjective.
No single photo will mean the same to you as it does to the next person. Even the person who snapped the photograph would've done so with their own emotions and moods at play.
If it's not told to you, then you can never really know what the real story is behind a photograph. Why was it snapped? What happened leading up to and after that snap? What was the photographer thinking or feeling? What was going on in the subjects' life? The observers' life? What was going on, period?

There's so much we don't really know and yet somehow we can all connect in our own way to an image. How?
It's just how our mind works.
A photograph has the ability to convey a wide range of emotions and feelings without using a single word. It can tell a story. But that story is shaped partly from what is seen and partly from the person seeing it. What is seen will be a reflection of the person looking. It will reflect their own experiences, memories, and whatever emotions those thoughts provoke.
Different aspects of a picture like colors, objects, subjects, scenery, place, and/or angle of the shot, may provoke different feelings. They cause a reaction brought forth by a trigger and something remembered. We feel the sensation of being transported through timeless hues. Then we connect with the captured moment.
It's amazing how even in the stillness of a picture we can see life. Photographs are a way to preserve memories. We can capture a moment and cherish it forever emotions and all. It acts as reminder for things past.
So what do your timeless hues show?
