Sorry for the randomness but if an actor will be a "parallel lead" in a show, does that mean he essentially has a lead role, but it isn't the main lead role? I'm confused on the concept and wanted to know if this means he will have an important role in the show or not 😕

It means he or she will get equally screen space and have a strong base with central character. Sometimes they have a better footage than the main leads and some will be halted midway based on the audience reaction and trps.
