Are the Andolans right?

Hey,

I dont know if this has been posted before or not but I wanted to ask everbody about this. We must be aware of what is going on in india. The doctors and Medicine students have gone on a strike in protest about the high-caste and low-caste situation. What do you think? Do you think it is right? What the govement is doing? Or do you think entrance should be based on merit. That is what I think. It is extemely unfair for all the students who study 4 years of their life studying for the entrance and then dont get it due to... I myself know how extremely hard it is to get an entrance in ANY medical college anywhere. It brought tears in my eyes and I was shocked to see the reaction of the police. It is right, what they are protesting against. But what do you guys think about this? Let us see.
