^That text above seems a bit wrong, right? I mean this post is meant for all IF members and yet I really can't call everyone here my friend. Why? Because I don't know everyone. Duh! So how about we *try* to remedy that....please do notice the emphasis on try ;p
Moving on, do you guys know how many different sections there are on IF? Me neither hence I will answer with a vague 'lots' 😃
The point is there are sooo many different areas to explore, which means there are so many more people to love...and hate 😈
And we the IF's Crazy Creatives would like to get you all little bacchas acquainted with one another. Thus the mixer part of my uh-mazing post's title...which raises the question about the contest part, and if you impatient beings would read on then you'd understand that part as well. Hmph!
Anyways, this mixer is happening because of our upcoming signature contest. Since I have annoyed you thus far with my seemingly nonsensical words, then let's get to business. *Rolls up sleeves*, here goes:
As the title suggests, we will be holding a signature contest on IF that will serve an underlying purpose of a mixer. The mixer will happen like this: you the wonderful members of this benevolent site called IF sign up by telling us which forums you visit. Then we the Crazy Creatives pair you up into groups of two.
How do we do this? Hmm well we don't like to share secrets but since I'm trying to befriend new people then I'll be nice. We chant a few spells, slaughter an unsuspecting victim, and drink our blood to be enlightened with the knowledge of who should be paired with whom!
Anyhoo enough about our great powers...so yes we pair you up, give you time to create and submit sigs and then declare the best one as the winner.
Sigs 😲??? What sigs, you ask? Yes, I pretty much flew past that one, eh?
Okay so now these sigs are supposed to represent the different forums to which you guys belong.
For example, if person A visits the Geet and PKYEK forum, while person B visits the Book Talk forum then the sig shouldn't show Maan and Geet as a jodi, Pia and Abhay as another and some picture(s) of a few book cover pages.
What you could do is to maybe show Maan and Pia as a couple from some science fiction novel, or Geet, Abhay, and Maan as Desdemona, Othello, and Iago respectively.
The point of this contest cum mixer is to 'mix' it up hence you show that in your sigs! Mix it up...show us something 'creative' and different...something we haven't seen before. Use your imagination.
Sooo now that my rant is pretty much done, here's what you do: sign up here by January 17th 11:59 pm IST. In a matter of a few seconds...ok not seconds but very soon we will pair you up and then you get started on your sigs. Sound good? Then sign up already! 😡
