Since the past few years, we have lost a lot of people. Thousands of people expired because of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Tower. Since then a lot of people died in wars with Afghanistan and Iraq.
Then there were lots of floods in Pakistan and India especially in Mumbai and caused much human loss. Then more than a thousand died in Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in America.
Now, this earthquake in Pakistan, Kashmir and India. Currently more than 30,000 people died in Pakistan (Islamabad and Abotabad) and Kashmir and more than 50,000 injured and more than 600 people in India.
There has to be something done! We have to do something! Please be generous while giving charities. Please I urge you all to donate something, as much as you can.
We are blessed by having so much that we have and above all having our loved ones safe and fine with us. Just think about the pain of those whose parents, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters died in the disaster. I am sure tears would come down your cheek.
If we won't celebrate one Eid and Diwali, it's okay but if those people died, who are injured, then would we be able to forgive ourselves??? No!
I know a couple who were going to go for Hajj this year but they gave all that money to the victims saying that they can do Hajj another year but their lives need to be saved right now!
So please I request you all and beg you to do as much as you all can! I am sure already around us all there are lots of charity sites are built. People are collecting donations already so please I appeal to you all to do as much as you can to help them!
I also understand that not all of us have all the resources to go beyond in helping the victims but we all can at least pray for them. When we all sit down to pray for our family and friends please don't forget those who died in the Earthquake and those who are left but abandoned! Please at least remember them in prayers.
May Allah give them place in Heaven and those who are injured, please Allah save them and give them energy to fight the terrible disaster and situation! Amen!
