In this situation she overheard Raghav and Esha arguing about that night he didn't tell her directly and also the way he pushed her away after coming back it probably hit home very painfully. so there was nothing there to doubt that it was the nasty truth.

Aaj ke episode ke baat i have a question. Jab mandaar track ka shuru mein jab Raghav ne khud bola ki ussi ne accident kiya hai toh Pallavi didn't accept that he was a murderer. Jab abhi Pallavi ne sirf adhi baat sun ke react kar liya. I didn't blame her. Bas Pallavi ne aisa kyun nahi socha raghav ne aisa kuch nahi kiya hoga... Aaj miland sir ki dialogues šššš ab esha toh gayi š¤£š¤£š¤£ Waiting to see Pallavi RaghavRao's action š„š„š„
Pallavi's denial that Raghav could leave Mandar to die after hitting him with his car was based on her observation of Raghav stopping in the street to rescue a poor child who fell down. Pallavi felt that if Raghav stops to help someone in the street when it's not his fault, he wouldn't leave the scene when it's his crime. That wasn't very logical. But Pallavi could also have remembered that when Raghav knocked her off her scooter with his car when they first met, he didn't drive away. He stopped to check if she was hurt, sneered at her for driving while female, and torched her property because she had scared Harish away from Kirti. We viewers know one more example that Pallavi doesn't know: when an old woman fell down in the street, Raghav took her to the hospital, paid for her treatment, and also found time to pay Dr. Kanika for some other "boyfriend case." Anyway, Raghav has a pattern of stopping his car when someone in the street is injured.
As for Raghav's confession of adultery, Pallavi knows that Raghav might not be capable of a hit-and-run, but he is capable of betrayal. Pallavi has been cheated by Raghav in business (All India saree knockoffs, stolen original agreement, deed of sale without price), in tenancy (theft of sarees, illegal eviction notice, illegal use of shop for photoshoot, padlock, refusing to hand over key from Vijay), and in interpersonal relations (defamation, Nikhil's arrest, don't-tell-AmmÄ-I'm-forcing-you). Recently, Raghav lied about who his ex-girlfriend was, calling her a classmate instead. Why should Pallavi speculate that Raghav's admission of adultery must be false?

I agree especially leading to this he has been lying to her constantly. Also she saw how affected he was by her showing up. This his behavior after the trip, his distant behavior, mood swings all finally added up when she heard the conversation. People don't contemplate or reflect on what happened or why it happened when they are dealing with the pain of betrayal and a broken heart. It takes your all just to gather the pieces of the shattered heart. That's pretty much why she tells him point blank that she is done with his issues, his hurt etc. Now she needs all of her energy to deal with the pain she is left with. She or anyone for that matter is not capable of thinking rationally at this point. Also no spouse is going to lie to their spouse that they cheated when they hadn't.
Also no spouse is going to lie to their spouse that they cheated when they hadn't.
Actually, it's rather clichƩ for a fictional spouse to pretend adultery when the truth is worse: s/he has a terminal illness or Alzheimer's, and thinks, "Instead of my beloved having to diaper me, catheterize me etc., or feeling the pain of me dying by inches or forgetting who s/he is, if I say I've found someone else, s/he will feel justified to forget about me."
Of course, equally clichƩ is the miraculous recovery.
