I mean he can still feel abandonment after his family passed and A+K left him, but if today's timeline reveal is the truth then that means it wasn't the first instance of someone leaving him which IMO is lessening the impact of A+K leaving him.

They really botched htis all up. They should've just gotten other teen actors to play R+P in college. Who cares if it wasn't the same one as before. By using SKR as the college R, they messed with everyone's heads and we all assumed it was after the death of his father+bro that he sought comfort and love in E. Tbh that makes more sense bc then his love for E was really an adhura pyaar type of situation and it was more heartbreaking that she also left him when he had no one else.

But now? She was his first love as a teen? Really? So silly. Who still carries a torch for their 1st love from when they were kids? Bc they are essentially kids at that point. Didn't the show once mention that A+K had left R for 10 years? Am I just making that up.

My brain is trying so hard to piece all the continuity puzzles together.

Amma n Kirti did abandon him 10yrs ago. If he's 27 now than he would have been 17yrs old at that time.

My understanding was that Raghav n E met when they were in college or uni. E would have been really young to get married at 16 or 17 if Raghav's father n brother were still alive when E left R 🙄

Weren't R n his family living in some village when his father n brother well killed??? 😱

Sometimes I really feel that did creatives really understood the meaning of "Don " title or not. Or They just threw it like a fancy word 🤣

What a don can do , what are his resources , his pack of loyal men , his control of everything

The beginning episodes raghav really felt powerful in all these aspects like the way he handled jagdish anna and how he took revenge from pallavi for supposed kirti MMS misunderstanding

uske baad se I think the creatives forcefully made him took sanyas from dongiri 🤣🤣

kya se kya ho gaye dekhte dekhte 😭

@bold: Yes I thought so too! Hence the line of R saying they have to go back to the village when he thought he'd go bankrupt. LOL

NONE of this makes any sense.

There's no way to make sense of the age issue. Forget them showing SKR as college RR but young RR when his dad/bro died which supposedly happened after.

In what world is this man only 27. Unless E breakup + dad/bro deaths happened in the same year. But still... drinking competitions? Plans to marry? WHEN? And then her Dad really did marry her off at that young of an age?

When do people go to college in India? Is college the same as university in India? (I'm in the US - we use the terms interchangeably here)

I always thought he met E when he was at the end of his college days - hence his big dreams + their plans to marry. This is all just absurd now. LOL

🤣🤣🤣

The more I think about it:

So in my head the writers screwed up royally with the dialogue of Esha getting to know through industry circles about the death of Raghav's family members.

Raghav was 17 (27 less 10 yrs) when that incident happened and the actor looked 17 who played young Raghav. He dated Esha when he was in college may be 21 or 22. He was alone and hence latched on to Esha and she became an emotional crutch for him. I'm going to assume he never told Esha about the tragedy of his family because he told P that it was the first time in ten years he spoke about KR and how difficult it was for him to speak about it.

Esha getting married immediately after breakup and drinking sessions etc can't be pre 17 yrs so the most logical answer is this happened after KR incident and Raghav never told Esha about the deaths and she got to know from industry circles (again makes no sense because no one in the industry would talk about someone's private life if the person is a don who is a loner, bahar kaise kisiko bhi pata chalega).

I follow this theory for my sanity 🤢

Also pls sack the writers sicku, oh wait the whole team is sacked, chalo acha hai. The dialogues are so loosely worded I can't even say. She could have said anything else which wouldn't make a difference, Amma stopping her would seem equally illogical. They screwed up earlier when he said Main bhavnao main beh gaya or it was the worse day of his life when Esha left him or she was my perfect partner or my soulmate. What are these writers smoking????

I've been saying this too.

I don't think they understand what a Don really is. When I look back at the show, RR was only a don up until he married P. And I know reform had to happen - but bc he already had a legit business that doesn't mean reform = loss of power and influence. It doesn't mean they have to dumb him down and make him less cunning.

The real issue is because he was essentially the villain/anti-hero in the beginning of the story, they had him be really smart and cunning, but now, to truly best him, they have to dumb him down. Otherwise, no one would be able to pull the wool over his eyes.

You know if they had made him a true villain of pallavi life and all characters around him with his shrewdness and cunning behaviour , I would have still rooted for him and cheered for him.

these type of characters intrigue me . Not this weak caricature of OG Raghav Rao

Ren, to your point about dialogues + writers:

1) The writers are smoking Sunny's secret stash.

2) They've been messing up dialogues EVER SINCE M track and I fully stand by this.

Not to bring up old wounds but for reference purposes, P's dialogues of kartavya v. pyaar - as if pyaar/marriages doesn't have kartavya in it, as if all relationships don't have kartavya in it - was sooo misinformed and illogical. It just didn't make any sense. Then again when they had her say "maybe I was too focused on kartavya/farz" (paraphrasing here) - as if that's not exactly what she did.

And now with R, they had him saying "the day E left me was the worst day of my life", "She was my soulmate"... I'm sorry I can't ignore dialogue. This is what makes up 90% of their show. If I can't take P + R at their word for these dialogues then I can't take them at their word when they say ILU, or when they apologize, etc etc.

I know it's all the writers fault for changing them and giving them ambiguous, problematic dialogue. But essentially whatever the writers end up showing is what is written in stone for the show. So it's hard to just ignore it or try to come up with another meaning behind their words.

SKR said whatever they choose to put in the show is carefully selected to make it to the final cut (altho tbh.. I think he's just a tad bit naive about this ngl). So clearly they mean to show these things on purpose. They're not misspeaking.

So E saying all these things - they meant for her to say it. At least with R + P dialogue it's up to perspective and its more opinion based dialogue, etc. But E's dialogue completely trashed the continuity of the show. LOL.

I wouldn't want him to be the true villain bc I'm too influenced by Disney and I still need a happy ending in all the stories I read/see LOL, BUT I think they could've kept his edge. The issue is, for ITV it just doesn't work like that. They can't have the good, noble FL fall in love with someone who is toeing the line between good & evil. At least not on SP of all channels.

Tbh GP is the perfect mix of toeing that line, but having them both fall for each other completely. Honestly that writer should've been hired to write this script and this show should've been on OTT platform instead LOL.

Fria and Ren - At this point the creative team is not looking for any logic. I finally watched Sandip in Sai's Live and by the looks of it, the show shooting might be done by next weekend. Sandip was saying there is no sense of him visiting Kolhapur because it is Diwali now. That means the show is shutting shop just after Diwali and by that means most probably Nov 8th or 9th might be the last day of shooting for the show.

So at this point the creatives are just giving some dialogues and the characters are sprouting it bas. Today's Esha's dialogues are just to deceive Amma and make Pallavi understand how manipulative Esha is in real. Just take it at that and let's not lose our brain cells over logic and timeline.
